A Nice Side Trip
Reviewed 5 december, 2021
While on a house hunting trip in King of Prussia my wife and I decided to visit the Valley Forge Casino Resort. Prior to the visit I checked trip Advisor (as I tend to do) to set expectations. First let me say we visit casino’s often even though we cut way back in 2020 because of COVID-19. In fact, we were married in Las Vegas. I was not disappointed with the Valley Forge Casino Resort. While not a large casino it was a reasonable size for the location. I play roulette and slots. The roulette dealers were friendly and the slots were reasonably loose. There are so many amazing restaurants in the King of Prussia area we did not eat at the casinos but as I was playing, I smelled good aromas coming from the kitchens. I was able to get complimentary drinks at the bar while playing the built-in poker/slot machines. There were not a lot of cocktail waitresses walking the floor but staffing shortages is something I have notice post-COVID-19 at many venues gaming and non-gaming. Overall, I recommend a visit for gaming fun.
Ruined our Honeymoon
Reviewed 19 november, 2021
My husband and I just got married on 11/09/21 and love history, so we decided to go to Philly to experience all the wonderful historic city. Anyway, we chose to stay at this property, and it was the absolute WORST decision; staying here ruined our honeymoon and now we are stuck with these horrible memories for the rest of our lives. We booked to stay from 11/14/21-11/18/21 and checked in online, and that is where everything went south, very quickly. After checking in, we went to the front desk to pick up our key to our room, and after getting in the room, we checked our account, and to our disappointment, we found the casino charged our account twice. So, my husband went back down to the front desk, and they released the funds and the money was put back in our account right away. All good, right? WRONG!!! From that point forward, they took out $518.29 EVERY SINGLE DAY that we stayed in the casino. Every single morning we had to put our plans on hold, wait for the manager to show up, and credit our account each and every day. On the 17th, the manager said she would close out our stay so that we wouldn't get charged anymore.. WRONG AGAIN!! We woke up, yet again, on the 18th and they had charged our account $518.29 AGAIN, even after having everything closed out. Our account was left in the negative due to this transaction, and we did not have funds to be able to get back to the airport, as we were heading back and it was our last day. The manager, Lisa, did not even attempt to offer any type of solutions. We called our bank, after being told that it was our bank who was holding the $518.29, and after speaking to the manager at the bank, they informed us, that it was in fact, the casino that had pulled the money yet again, and they had to be the ones who had the means to release the funds. It was a back and forth between the bank and the casino, and our account was still left in the negative due to the casinos multiple errors. After sitting downstairs trying to get it resolved, my husband finally asked if the manager had any means to get us to the airport for our flight, and only then did she offer for security to bring us. The casino did absolutely nothing for the major inconvenience and constant stress of having to check our account every single morning, taking time out of our honeymoon to go down to the front desk and deal with it. I would not recommend for anyone to stay here. In addition to them taking $518.29 from our account every day for five days, our room did not have hot water. We had to run the hot water for 20 minutes to even attempt to get only warm water, and the bed was hard as a rock. If I could give negative stars, I would. I have contacted corporate, and still waiting for them to contact me. Worst experience- EVER

Not great. Not bad. If you’re looking for a Vegas style casino, not even close. The facilities appear to be older but have been remodeled. Very very limited choice of eateries in the hotel. Rooms have VERY thin walls. I was here on business and all of my neighbors must have been here on vacation. Not sure I would recommend for a business conference. Just an okay visit. Have stayed better have stayed worse.
Family Overnight Trip

Drove up from North Carolina for a family party. The traffic on I-76 was horrible. Once we got to the hotel, check-in was easy. Our room was on the third floor. It was a two queen beds room. There was a small fridge and microwave. Large shower was great. Although it was a casino, it was very quiet. We had self parking. I didn’t get to the casino. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. I would stay here again because it is a favorite of my family.
If Motel 6 had a casino

Hi, 1. There’s no signage to let anyone know that the desk is always closed and sending people to check in at the casino instead - this created a very very long and annoying walk after an exhausting day of travel. 2. There was no signage in the stall area of the Womens bathroom in the lobby of the abandoned hotel area when the floor was washed to say wet floor, and I fell. I told staff and they didn’t seem very concerned. 3. The room itself was warm, stuffy, and smelled weird, like it had been closed up in hot weather with no ventilation. Musty. 4. The bathtub didn’t drain. I ended my shower in ‘deeper than high ankle’ water both days. There was also white caulking stuck to the shower head. It was easy for me to peel off, so that tells me it sat on there because no one bothered to clean the shower head for who knows how long. 5. There’s no signage on how to get to your room, or where the rooms are, and no map for the rooms or how to get around to the casino and back. The brochure they give you at checkin is missing a lot of detail. 6. Cleaning knocked on and *opened* our room door at 9:30a & 10:50a. Regular checkout is at 11 & We had late checkout at noon. There was no reason to open our door that early. 7. The bed was hard/too firm & there were no extra blankets in the room at all. They’ll only deliver extra in limited hours and I wasn’t in the hotel in the middle of the day because there was no reason to be - there to see the sights not sit in a hotel room 8. All of the amenities were closed and the website doesn’t mention any of that - like room service. 9. The doors don’t open and the windows are filthy. I should have been able to enjoy an awesome view of the valley forge area in early fall colors with fog settled on it, but I couldn’t take a photo because the door wall window was so dirty. I alerted your customer service team already, but based on their response I felt a public review was needed.
