Clean and Updated
Have stayed here many times, usually for trip extensions. The room is modern, updated, and generally clean, but an open motel setting. The courtyard and inside common areas are well kept. Being on 192 means it can be difficult to get out of the parking lot and there will be a lot of noise at night. The other guests can also be noisy - there have been several late night/ early morning shouting matches and music blasting at various hours. The updated rooms really are done very well, but their exorbitant resort fee (while advertising they don't charge fees) on what is essentially a roadside motel makes this a fairly costly option compared to the alternatives. Still, this is a great last minute option where you can rely on having a relatively clean and inviting room.
Perfect Stay !! Amazing staff!!
If you are going to Disney Parks and wanna save money in your stay this is the perfect place. Everything looks new or renovated not sure. Great room and installations. But the best of all was the staff. I had the pleasure of meeting with Ana ( front desk) and Edith ( Dominican guy attending breakfast). They definitely went above and beyond to make sure everything was good for us. Ana gave us a great room upon arrival. Also we stayed for 3 nights, apparently by mistake we did not get housekeeping service. Ana was at the front desk that evening she brought us towels and even offered to clean the room for us. Is difficult to find this kind of service in a hotel that is not that expensive. We declined the cleaning offer of course but appreciate the intention. On the other hand Edith at the breakfast buffet was extremely helpful and gave us exceptional service.
don't stay here at greenpoint hotel , don't tell the truth about weed and pot smokers
where a lot of people smoking weed and pot and we could smell itin our room greenpoint hotel does not tell the truth, we keep pictures and records ofthe' pot'' smokers,the hotel manger sent a letter we had to leave,we did anthing wrong and reporting to booking.com don't stay here you not enjoy your stay, and will be lie to one of greenpoint workers came to the room 100 and said he could smell the weed even in the bathroom, gave us air purfied to clean out the room
Roach and hair on sheets
Motel looks a little sketchy, but most do in this area. The room interior was surprisingly nice, until a roach crawled out from the bathroom wall. There were a couple gnats on the wall and the room itself is really humid. Also there was black hair in my sheets (I am a redhead, so def not mine). The after-hours man who check us in was nice, however.
BE CAUTIOUS & SAFE
The room itself was nice. Location also . BUT upon departure my bf was out of the room for a while. During that time one of the housemen tried to force himself in the room after being told NO & ONE MINUTE. I am a female . The only reason he stopped was because I pointed out my bf was coming. Then he google translated how he needed to check the roomto make sure everything was in working order. He did not translate that to myself, nor did he knock, & I was NOT fully dressed . I dont know the intentions. I was very uncomfortable & scared for my life & was very appreciative my bf came when he did. I spoke to the person at the front because she was the MOD ( which means she was just the highest working employee because the manager was not there. I asked for a corporate number , was told they did not have one, asked for a higher powers email & she gave me the email to the FRONT DESK ( herself) which I found the MANAGER email online as soon as I left , emailed that one & still never heard back. I am a real person , this a real review . Feel free to email me any questions . Ill be sure to answer . Very nice hotel , just be safe & stay cautious if you do choose to stay here .
