Royal style. Great view. Excellent location. Friendly staff.
Royal style of this hotel shows in the spacious lobby. The room is clean and comfortable as it has been renovated recently. It comes with a great view of the river and the city. Friendly stuff speaks really good English. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Good hotel with 1 proviso!
Very convenient if you are visiting Kokura and utilising the brilliant train network in Japan. We resided on 24th floor with a good view. The room was large and well stocked and clean. The Skybar has a fantastic view but both the food and drinks menu are very pricey! The one thing that we did not appreciate is asking for a non smoking room but being obviously sited in a smoking corridor. The smell of smoke is overpowering in both the corridor and room, and is even worst when the air con is switched on. When I had a chat with another Japanese resident he informed me that what’s a smoking room today could be a non smoking room tomorrow!
Stayed here in February for 2 nights for a business trip. Located right across Kokura station.Surprisingly spacious rooms for Japanese standards. The room had a great view of the sea. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast spread was large and very tasty. Very pleased with the stay. Will definitely stay here again!
I had an issue my room that was severe enough that I had to inform the staff. Upon talking to the staff the director of rooms came to my room and was overly apologetic and wanted to move me to another room. I didn't think it was so bad but wanted them to be aware of the hole in the wall. I was too tired to change rooms so said I could stay. Although the director insisted I move I really was too tired. Instead he prepared a very nice box of hotel treats for me. I was very happy with this service and think the hotel handled my issue very professionally and I can recommend this hotel. Just be aware that there are a lot of very noisy Korean and Chinese guests that we experienced so if you can't handle noise this may not be the best place to stay.
Nice View, Small Room and good location
It's so close to the train station connected with the skywalk and walking street. Staffs seem friendly enough. Offers a good view to the sea (I supposed it was the sea?). The Breakfast room is vast and has a variety of food. Not so many tour groups despite the long weekend. Only one huge Chinese group but it was ok.
