This place looks nothing like in pictures. It is rather disgusting. Everything was broken or with wholes. The manager fixed for me not working shower and locking sink when I arrived, but how could it not be reported or noticed before? He started as a nice person helping with my bag and these fixtures, but it just gone from bad to worse. I asked to change the room as the one was scruffy. There were wholes in walls and ceiling. Electric plugs didn't work, and there were wires coming out of it. One plug worked, but it charged my phone only 50% over the whole night period. The balcony door looked like Wolverine. Try to get in. It was all with wholes and eaten. And those mattresses, omg. It was super old spring mattresses and I think 20 years old because it was dented really badly. The manager didn't want to swam me room without paying him extra. On top of it, he charged me an extra 500 baht for the key, which was not mentioned anywhere in the advert. I had to call booking.com to help me get my money back for the rest of the booking and leave the place. But to be honest, I should have paid the full amount back as it was nothing as advertised, I was unfairly charged extra for key, and the manager became very rude and pretended he didn't speak English. I runnaed away from the place. Forgot mention wierd smell in my room. I was kicked out before managing to do any pictures.

Don’t stay here, only the view is nice

If I were you would avoid staying at this place. The couple who runs this guest house is only interested in your money overcharging for the rooms and not maintaining in good conditions. We were different friends staying in different times and we ALL had problems with them. If you are there for short time maybe you won’t face their dark side, but if you stay for long periods be prepared! The only reason that I choose this place was because of view of the balcony, but in the end if I go back to PhiPhi I wouldn’t stay at this place because of the couple, they can be very rude, aggressive, annoying, not friendly at all!

Me and my friends felt so welcomed here the owner was an absolute sweet heart. The room was nice with air con and comfy beds, nice balcony. reasonable price would stay again.deffo recommend. Love room 203 x

Don’t stay here! It’s a scam

I stayed here for three nights, and booked through booking.com. I arrived and was told that I wouldn’t be charged through the website, and had to pay at the desk. Trusting them, I paid. I then got charged on my credit card and they refused to refund even after I showed them the proof! One morning, the owner let himself into my room whilst I was in there. He said he couldn’t remember if the room was occupied or not! Was also woken up middle of the night by the owner saying he had to check the plumbing in the bathroom... It’s quite a good location, however as it’s cheap you WILL have noisy neighbours. The steps may also put you off. It’s basic accommodation, plenty of cockroaches, and its hit and miss as to whether you’ll get a room with a view (even if you request). DONT STAY HERE.

I was recommended this place by a friend and I can see why! Friendly people, clean rooms and the view from my balcony was amazing. Not all rooms have a great view but still it's a great place to stay. Not far from Phi Phi viewpoint and a short walk to the bars and beaches.
