Lotos Mountain Resort

One of the most amazing places ever visited in the mountains! Facing Konitsa, 1,5 hour drive from Ioannina, Lotos is a an integrated resort for every visitor aiming at relaxing escape in the nature. Clean, well organized wooden houses, with complete toiletry sets and kitchen facilities, with a lovely stove creating cozy atmosphere, ensure a homy stay. Extra: new anatomic mattress offer a great sleep! Private verandas invite to enjoy the view to the mountains or the night starry sky. The resort offer a nice restaurant where you can savor local, Greek and European dishes, but also a healthy and rich breakfast around the fireplace. Special detail: you can select your breakfast serving time and whatever you d like to have; you can also opt for free serving in your "home". Don t omit to ask for the homemade wine, red or white, as well as the local tsipouro! For kids but grown ups too, the resort has its own "animal planet": different animals, to meet and cherish! Horse riding can also be an interesting option too. However, the strongest trait of Lotos is its people, their smile and help, their sweetness and care to make your staying a true experience. From guidelines and trails for hiking, rafting, sight seeing, river walks, to special recipes and dishes prepared at the time of return to the resort especially for every guest, and many many more, everyone in Lotos deserve a Michelin star for the great concern and hospitality. Lotos Mountain resort was a real discovery, a gem in Pindos, a unique destination in Greece not only for winter, but also for the rest of the year. Prices are fair and decent while the quality is excellent. Overall: a must go and a certainly will go again! Tip: better fly to Ioannina airport and rent a small suv to drive around and avoid a 5+ hours drive from Athens. Yeah, visit the islands, visit all major and famous places in Greece. But do visit Konitsa and stay in Lotos: you ll be amazed, welcomed, happy!

This was the second year we planned a holiday in Epirus and the epicentre of this decision was Lotos Mountain Resort & Farm. Wonderful relaxed hospitality in a gorgeous setting with wooden cottages and lush gardens. The pools, playground and all other facilities helped our stay be full of action and relaxation at the same time. The area surrounding the resort allows for all sorts of river activities with Voidomatis river being the highlight. Yoh can swim in the pool or Aoos river near by or even Voidimatis river if you can brave the crisp cold water. The resort is spot clean, the food is homey and they will even cater to any dietary special needs you may have. I'm gluten free for example and as my family and I stayed here for 9 nights, we were privileged to have the option to set our own menu for the entire stay and have the chef prepare our meals the way we requested. If that's not personalised service then I dont know what is. Lotos is highly recommended for all types of travelers, families will benefit the most due to the offered services and activities.

We were 4 families- 19 persons over all. The place is amazing and the crew is even more.... The resort is very clean. The rooms are big enough and well equipped. Every room has it’s own seating balcony and private parking- which is great for loading and unloading the luggage. They cleaned our room every day and changed the towels every day. The breakfast is very good- serials, coffee,tea, fruit and vegetables . The breakfast served in a unique dining room and you can eat outside. They have 1 min from the resort big swimming pool and bar . We ate there every evening- the food is tasty and they have everything. The prices- very good. We enjoy every minute staying there.

We stayed with all out friends and family during the weekend of a special celebration. All of us (couples, singles, families, etc) had an amazing time! The small houses were super cool and fully equipped. Breakfast was delicious. The pool, the playground, the view simply breathtaking... there are not enough words to describe this place. However the most important factor which will make us return soon was the people and especially Mrs Despoina Athanassiou... polite, friendly and always ready to assist and support us with any need. I wish all hotels & resorts had people like Despoina. Thank you once again & see you soon 😊

Excellent location with a prestige natural beauty surrounding you. The resort is spacious and the staff is very helpful. Spent a long weekend trekking in the area and the resort was a welcoming sight at the end of the day. The animal enclosures and the activities spaces are highly recommended for families.
