Rezydencja Gubałowka

Not a very good first impression! I walked in and told the receptionist that I made a booking for 2 rooms under so and so name. She then looked at the people I was with who were standing behind me and asked if they speak Polish (in Polish), which they did my wife and sister and law and her husband being Polish. After that she didn't even look at me even though I made and paid for the booking under my name. If she said "sorry my English is not very good" or something that would have softened the blow. I mean I don't get hung up over trivial stuff and don't expect the whole world to speak English but not only is this plain rude, it is disrespectful. She just couldn't be bothered. Also, they should tell you to book massage at least the day before otherwise you won't have a massage. There was no running water in the room in the morning so I rang reception and the receptionist answered the phone with a huge "oh what the hell do you want!" sigh. I don't know what's with these receptionists. I will definitely go to Zakopane again but will definitely book somewhere else.

I opted not to stay right in the center of Zakopane and so I chose Rezydencja Gubałówka. The hotel is a handful of building that look like cabins but are internally connected. The views at the top of the mountain are stunning. Breakfasts had a good spread and the rest of the restaurant's menu was also tasty. Friendly English-speaking staff. We paid for parking and are glad we did as we were able to reserve a parking spot in the underground garage. The Hotel has taken many precautions to prevent the spread of COVID, so it's a safe option for your lodging while visiting the Zakopane area.

We stayed for 6 nights. The room was nice, clean (aslo bathroom 1*), nice view. The hotel is very calm and beautiful. I recomend to pay also for dinner, because food is excellent! Everything was perfect. Also breakfast was great. Wellness was empty - like private welness:) The stuff were very friendly. Everything was perfect!

Booked this last minute for a very good price, but it’s definitely worth the full price. Good location, great views, friendly staff and a modern, brand new hotel. From the outside it looks like a collection of traditional mountain houses but they are connected underground to form a very cleverly designed hotel. 20 mins walk to the top of the main cable car at the top of Gubalowka, 10mins drive down to the centre of Zakopane and about 15 mins to the nearby Thermal Pools. It’s in a quiet area, but still good for access to major attractions. Great views across the valley and a good choice of very nice food. Swimming pool, kids play room, comfortable bar and rooms are nicely designed and clean. Recommended and will come back.

Cudowna lokalizacja z przepięknym widokiem na Giewont. Kilka minut spacerkiem na Gubałówkę, a stamtąd szybciutko PKL do Zakopanego. Nasz pokój był bardzo dobrze przygotowany, kiedy do niego weszliśmy. Cały hotel był wg mnie utrzymany w jak największym porządku. Obsługa hotelowa również spisała się na medal - panie w recepcji oraz kelnerzy to bardzo uprzejme osoby. Jedzenie również nam smakowało, a moja żona to bardzo wymagający klient w tych sprawach. Parking podziemny oraz możliwość pobytu dla czworonożnego przyjaciela to duży plus. Jeśli będziemy mieli okazję, na pewno odwiedzimy REZYDENCJĘ GUBAŁÓWKA ponownie. Pozdrawiamy.
