Situated a few minutes away from the Main Market Square, the hotel was opened in 1912 and it still maintains its grandeur. It is situated in Krakow's Old Town, within easy reach from the city's main tourist attractions. The railway station is only a quick walk away while the airport is set at 15 km distance. Rooms at this charming hotel are decorated in a romantic and traditional style but combined with modern amenities and the professional and attentive service provided by the staff. It is the perfect place for families or couples visiting Krakow for the first time. The hotel features a great...More details

First impressions are that this hotel is very old fashioned, but don't let that put you off. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. A great location, only a few minutes walk from the old town square. We were booked for breakfast as well, which was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant staff, made for a great few days. If you are coming to Krakow, check this place out.

The location of the Francuski Hotel is excellent & the rooms are very spacious, and oozes old world charm. The staff are warm & welcoming, the breakfast buffet is fantastic. I highly recommend booking your airport transfers with the hotel, and you may have the good fortune to have Adam Wakszynski as your driver. We ended up booking a whole day excursion with him into the Zakopane Mountains. An absolutely fantastic day out, and a real highlight of our trip to Poland
Shame on you

Yesterday I ask to refund my reservation in this Hotel. I’m Italian, my parents are 73 years old. I reserved 3 rooms and I payed € 390,34. This is their answer WE ARE NOT OBLIGED TO REFUND YOU! In this moment...during this catastrophe and very sad moment for all Italian people and for all people all over the world...you answer me You are not obliged!...sometimes there are things superior than MONEY. Me , and my family, my old parents payed for your Hotel and now, we don’t cancel for our decision, there are forced circumnstances. It’s the entire country Italy on quarantine. I’m really shame on you. I’M REALLY SHAME ON YOU. Sometimes a small thing for the people in need can make the difference. SHAME ON YOU.

From the outside, this hotel is very elegant looking and that continues inside, where you are greeted with a beautiful, sweeping staircase. The rooms in keeping with the rest of the building and are clean and comfortable. The only downside is that it may a be a bit noisy in summer. However, if like us you do 12 miles a day walking, you'll hit the bed and drop right off! Breakfast is the usual ; hot and cold buffet, choice of cereal, tea, coffee and juices and pastries. Simple but adequate and always fresh. The staff here are extremely friendly and very helpful with a good command of several languages. All in all a good hotel in a great location and I for one will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and couldn’t have asked for more. Quick check in, room was ready despite us having an early flight which was very much appreciated. The doorman kindly took our luggage to our room and was there to open doors and welcome us back from each trip. After a full day of walking and a emotional visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau we arrived back to find our room made up with our pyjamas placed on our pillows which was so nice to come back to after such along say so a massive thank you to your wonderful housekeeping staff. Hotel is literally round the corner from the main square and would definitely stay again.
