A good value hotel

The hotel is situated close to the old town, the rooms were clean and the beds really comftable, the staff were helpful. the breakfast was your usual mix of cold meats and cheeses along with scrambled eggs and saugages, although the breakfast room was quite busy there was no noise in the rest of the hotel.
Excellent location, value for money.

Tidy hotel on a quiet side street, 8 minutes walk from the main square. Very comfotrtable bed, excellent shower. Facilities as per website. Good variety of breakfast items and excellent coffee. Friendly staff, reception happy to book tours for you.
Tip : Get reception to book you a taxi back to the airport. Ours was a huge Mercedes with leather seats and friendly driver - 90zl.

This wasn’t my first time visiting Krakow, but it was my first time staying in a hotel as previously i have stayed in air b&b.
I booked with jet2 as a package and i cannot fault them. this review is aimed at the hotel!
The price was great at £200 each including breakfast. Sadly my opinion changed as soon as i stepped foot in the hotel.
Location was average, a 5-10 minute walk to get to the centre. i personally didn’t mind the walk. When i entered the room, the paintwork on the walls looks scabby, paint was peeling, scuffed marks all over the place, damp on the ceiling and just a general feel of uncleanliness.
The bathroom door was vile, full of damp marks and the wood/paint was bubbling and peeling off over the entire door.
We had found several pubic hairs in the beds. Also, the bedding was full of holes.
My biggest problem was when i had come out of the dingy shower to dry my hair. the hairdryer wasn’t working. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but the hotel had stated the room had a hair dryer. my hair is long and curly and takes ages to dry. When we arrived it was late and the weather was cold (and was going to be for the next few days). i had washed my hair and noticed the dryer wasn’t working, i had gone down to reception to ask, where the woman on the desk couldn’t be bothered to take her headphones out to listen to me. she told me it was tough and she wasn’t going to do anything about it, i just had to ‘drip dry’. Feeling slightly annoyed i went back up and fell asleep with wet hair. the next day i had a massive head cold that ended up bringing on a full blown cold. i spent the rest of my holiday poorly and still having to sleep with wet hair. I feel the hotel should’ve informed us that they were not having hairdryers in use so i could’ve brought my own.
The breakfast was a continental full of meat. as a vegetarian the only thing i could eat really was the limited amount of fruit and scrambled eggs. the eggs to me seemed undercooked and had given me stomach ache in a few occasions.
I don’t think i would stay here again, says 3* but i’m not sure....
Great location, terrible staff

The hotel is in a great location and is reasonably nice inside, was cheap so can’t complain about the rooms. However the staff were extremely rude, abrupt and inattentive. For that reason I wouldn’t go back or recommend.

pity there was building work going on next to the hotel, started at 7am looks like it could go on for months.we should have been told we would have asked for a room at the front. the side rooms were most affected by noise. Breakfast is continental sort of scrambled eg with hot dog type sausages each morning, bowls of pasta raw peppers and plates of cold cheese and meats, some cereals, depends on your taste, we ate there twice only, no bar but they have a fridge in reception with beer coke and soft drinks, its 3 star.you get what you pay for, the rooms were spotless, beds low and comfy very spacious, tv fridge hair dryer, comfy bed setee chair to sit in, tired decor but I do believe we had an older room. reception staff very helpful and happy to help book any trip for you
