Uhmmmm no, just no.

I’m not sure where all the great reviews came from but they are certainly not accurate. We decided to stay at this hotel just for one night to break up a long drive. Our rooms were hot and stuffy as the windows opened up into hallways and not the outside so there was no circulation. As you know, hot and stuffy also means smelly. Especially given that there was a hallway bathroom that had been used but obviously not cleaned in many weeks. I won’t give you the details but the toilet had not been flushed for quite some time. I’m sure this contributed to the smell. There was only one person there when we arrived, so she was stretched very thin. I did ask her for a fan and she had one that she took from the kitchen which helped some with the heat and stuffiness in the room. We also ran the bathroom fan all the time which helped a bit but then we had to deal with that noise. The breakfast buffet was nice however they start packing it up at 10 and checkout is at an unusually early hour, at 10:30. All in all, not such a pleasant experience.

Brilliant little local hotel in a great location.

My family stayed 3 nights in 2 rooms in July 2018. The hotel is a local, old-style, place but with tons of character and brilliant staff. We were driving and received a permit from the hotel so we could park right outside. The location is excellent. Within walking distance of the main square and right oppposite a busy church. The staff are superb. Very helpful and friendly. This is the kind of place you need to stay. Not any large chain-hotel. Here you get superb service and a decent and comfortable stay. We will definitely go back.

Quiet location downtown near a church. Parking available. Nice quaint airconditioned room with fridge and tv. Beds not terribly comfortable. Unfortunately there were some guests in the restaurant downstairs so it was quite noisy until after midnight. We sat outside on the terrace in the afternoon and had some nachos and drinks. Breakfast was great! Good selection. Good coffee. You could cook your own eggs on a small induction plate! Really enjoyed our short stay here.

We stopped without having reserved and got a large apartment on the top floor. It was quite a climb for my 80 year old husband, but the room was lovely. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The normal yogurt, cereal, bread, ham and cheese, but also 2 fry pans and eggs, along with some other ingredients for a make your own omelet or fried or scrambled eggs. There was also a small appliance to “boil,” steam really, the eggs. First time we’ve seen this and think it’s a brilliant idea. Also and drinks and dinner here, great food and service and very reasonably priced. Only down side was that the credit card connection wasn’t working when we left, so I had to run to a nearby ATM to get cash to pay.

Very happy with a choice of this hotel , even for one nights stay.Room are very clean and very cozy. Breakfast amazing, owners are lovely and helpful people. Walking distance from main square and all amenities. Great value for money.
