Excellent location. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully furnished with traditional accents such as the paper window screens yet very well-equipped. Nice touch with the kimono and smart phone. Wonderful place, would very much like to return.

The apartment had everything necessary and in excellent condition, thoroughly clean. They had instructions for all the appliances. Only problem: Understanding signs for the washing machine and climatization, which were written in japanese symbols, which they solved. The staff was extremely friendly and tried always to help. They told us to ask for anything additional we could need. When we asked, they complied ! We felt very welcomed.

We loved this place - it was just beautifully and thoughtfully designed. It was the first place we stayed in which felt like someone's home, but where that someone had impeccable taste and had also provided for your every comfort! We booked a Deluxe Twin Room and were absolutely blown away by the serenity and spaciousness of the room, plus the laundry facilities, huge bathroom and kitchen. All the staff members we met were friendly, helpful and had perfect English skills. We even tried umeshu for the first time on the house! It was the perfect location - quiet but well within walking distance of the famous spots. This place is a gem and we would highly recommend it!

we enjoyed a nice place with a very good welcome. the hotel is in a nice district of Kyoto with lot of restaurants. the room is very comfortable and calm. we enjoyed to have a smartphone with 4G from the hotel that allowed us to find easily all places to visit. we recommend completely K House.

Great location!! Wonderful, friendly staff! My K House will always be a special part of our Kyoto memories. A real gem of a find - close to the transportation, great restaurants and quaint neighborhoods.
