El hotel tiene muy buena localización. Muchos restaurantes alrededor y a poca distancia caminando de muchas atracciones típicas de Kioto. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, dos personas en una habitación normal no podíamos abrir las maletas y no tiene armarios para colgar o guardar nada...tampoco tiene terraza, ni bar ni un lugar donde estar a parte de su cafetería o el lobby. Lobby muy bonito pero no mucho más.

Tiene muy buena ubicación el personal es súper atento y muy amables los cuartos súper cómodos y amplios limpio lo súper recomiendo, además tiene un restaurante que está muy rico en el lobbie bastante bueno tiene una sección de fumar adentro

It is very conveniently located near the intersection of two main streets (Karasuma-Shijo). The rooms are small but well equipped and furnished, and you can spend a relaxing stay. Since the hotel is located in a major transportation hub, you will have no trouble finding a place to eat. There are many restaurants nearby, or you can buy your favorite lunch from the wide selection at the nearby food department store and eat it in your room.

Wonderful Reception at Royal Park Hotel Shijo

I usually do not write reviews but this experience was something worth sharing. Booked Royal Park Hotel Shijo via a booking app. However when reached the hotel on a rainy Sunday, the hotel receptionist (I did not get to confirm her name) said that my booking was for Royal Park Hotel Sanjo (not Shijo). Frustrated that the booking was screwed up by the 3rd party booking company, I asked if she could help check if I can stay at Shijo while I try to cancel the Sanjo booking. She actually said that she can help to cancel Sanjo booking & book the Shijo room instead. That brought much relieve as most of my itinerary trip revolve Shijo. Despite paying a bit more, I was very happy with Royal Park Hotel Shijo, going over and above to help settle the mistake not created by them. Thank you for the warm hospitality

Cosy Hotel Great Stay

Decor is cosy & relaxing & is conveniently located within eateries & shopping malls. Lounge was good place to chill with a very pro bartender who was good with his recommendations. i felt that service staff at the breakfast restaurant pales in comparison to front desk & the lounge but Overall it was an enjoyable stay.
