Places to stay
The Radisson is awesome, rooms are spacious and comfortable a true home feel. I would suggest requesting a room with a river view. It’s beautiful and very peaceful. With in walking distance of great restaurants, novelty stores, and breweries
Great Location
Needed a room for one night as we were driving through. Parking is great with large lot right out front. Check in was a breeze with friendly staff. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom a bit small. They only negative was that we could not get the room to cool down. The temp kept rising and when we got up in the morning it was 78 in the room. Not a real good night of sleep. The location is fantastic. Right on the river and right in the thick of it downtown.
Great Hotel to stay at. Very friendly staff.
It was a great getaway for our family. The hotel is in such a close location to everything. The hotel is right next to the Mississippi. We will definitely stay there again. The Staff is so friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a nice stay.
In the Heart of Everything
The hotel is a about 15 minutes from the airport. Once you arrive, however everything is in walking distance. The convention center is right next door and the downtown area is right across the street. Then behind the hotel is the Mississippi River with lots of pathways for walking. The staff was kind and very helpful. The rooms were clean but a little dated. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathroom had a shower tub combination and was modern. They are doing construction on the south side of the building. Keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper. Amenities: - Mini Fridge - Pool and spa - Small fitness room with treadmills, bikes and free weights to 50 pounds - Restaurant in the Lobby - Hotel shuttle - Coffee station - Microwave next to the ice machine on each floor All amenities are open but the fitness room and pool must be reserved at the front desk. If in you use you will have to make an appointment for a later time. Most of the restaurants were open in the area to include the bars and clubs.
Excellent hotel... greatly enjoyed my stay.
I was visiting La Crosse over a weekend in August 2020 and had the pleasure of spending two nights (a Friday night and a Saturday night) at this hotel. I absolutely loved it. I arrived at around 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon. My check-in process went smoothly. My room (#311) was clean and comfortable. When I'd made the reservation online, I think I asked for a room on a higher floor... but the hotel was pretty full and I wasn't able to get a room on a higher floor. Not a huge deal. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the amenities. I appreciated being able to use one of the business center computers multiple times during my stay, although I had to keep bothering the front desk staff and ask for the wireless keyboard and mouse. (I wasn't sure if that was a new setup because of the COVID pandemic, but the front desk staff never gave me any trouble at all whenever I asked for the keyboard and mouse.) The restaurant and bar on site were pretty nice, and I sat at the bar for a drink on the Friday night I was staying there. One thing that I was VERY impressed with is the fact that the indoor pool and hot tub were open during this pandemic, and it was by appointment... so you can ask the front desk what times the pool and hot tub are available and you can reserve a time slot. For me, I was traveling alone and it was very nice to have the pool and hot tub to myself in the peace and quiet for about 45 minutes or so in the evening. I wish more hotels offered something like this with their pools/hot tubs during the pandemic. The only thing I can't comment on is the breakfast situation. I can't recall whether they were offering to-go bags, but I ended up eating my breakfast out both mornings I was there. All in all, I loved this place. Great hotel, great service, and great location downtown along the Mississippi River. I'd love to have the opportunity to stay here again someday if I ever return to the area.
