Very clean and comfortable
This was a good location for us to stop overnight during our three day drive through the Hill Country to see Texas bluebonnets near Brenham with tours and/or meals in New Braunfels, Bourne, Luckenbach and Fredericksburg
A port in the storm.
We evacuated to this hotel from Port Neches Texas to get out of the path of Hurricane Laura.Mike,the manager, and his stafff could not have been more welcoming, reassuring and helpful which greatly reduced the stress of the event.They made excellent dining recommendations.The rooms were large comfortable and super clean.Similarly the common areas and the breakfast was warm and tasty.It will not take another hurricane for us to return to this hotel in this beautiful and historic area.
Average
We stayed Monday and Tuesday, February 24-25, 2020. Our rooms on the third floor were clean and quiet. Compared to other Hamptons we have stayed at, this was not the best nor the worst. Hard to tell if it has been updated or in the process of being updated. Staff were friendly but we were not greeted as Hilton members or offered our water and snack when we checked in. Breakfast was okay. The entrance driveway from the freeway is a little tricky to pull into. Slow down to look for and take it slow as it is narrow. Location is convenient to attractions and restaurants around La Grange.
Do not recommend this hotel
I was informed that I would be staying in a room with a queen size bed. The bed instead was a full size bed which was uncomfortable as well. There was also something in the room which made myself and my wife sneeze and eyes itch each time we entered the room. The room was also very small. I would not recommend staying at this Hampton.
Family Christmas Party
My husband and I and son and fiancé stayed here for one night while in town for our family Christmas Party. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and welcomed immediately! The rooms were quiet and nicely stocked. Well lit parking area and close too many restaurants. Nice breakfast served also. We will definitely stay there again. Merry Christmas! The Giberson Family 🎄🎄
