It was adequate...
I didn't like this hotel as much as I had expected to. If you are a fan of historic hotels, you might like it more than I did; I'll settle for functional over historic though. The room was small, water pressure wasn't great in the bathroom; internet was somewhat unreliable, desk and chair were not comfortable to work at. The bed was great, very comfortable, and the service in the restaurant was very good. I'd stay again if I needed to, but would not rush to return.
Very nice hotel, clean rooms, tasy food
With location in center of city offers excellent place to visit downtown, staff is super friendly and helpfull, service is great and food really really good, not only breakfast but also other meals. Definitely recommended place to stay.
Centrally located , nice hotel
Located in the central plaza of the city, A nice renovated old building. Front desk could be more friendly. There was a flooding in the bathroom during the last day of my stay. Breakfast was very good.
Great Location and Wonderful Service
We had 3 nights at this lovely hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The building itself is an impressive property on the beautiful main square, so has a great location. From the very first interaction at checkin staff were friendly and professional and gave that little extra in personal attention to give the air of a boutique experience, and not just a big chain hotel. We asked for a quiet room and were given a lovely double overlooking the pool and internal courtyard. I discovered that I had left a sweater behind on our bus journey to Trujillo and by the time we settled ourselves into our room the receptionist had called the bus company, located the missing sweater and ensured I could collect the following day. The rooms were comfortable and with all our the convenience you expect from a big hotel, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast each day had a large choice and was a lovely relaxed start to our days. We asked to sit outside to enjoy the fresh air and staff immediately set up a table and ensured we had great service. I thought the hotel represented excellent value and definitely exceeded our expectations. A wonderful property with staff who really seemed to enjoy their jobs, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests enjoy their stay.
Greta location, nice hotel
Our party of eight stayed there for two nights in October. Its in a wonderful location, right on the main square. The check-in was a nightmare, quite ridiculous bureaucracy. Then our room smelt of cigarettes so we had to move. The new room was adequate but a bit poky. Otherwise no complaints; nice breakfasts, great bar.
