Excellent hotel, great staff!

This was a wonderful hotel….we stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. The staff is excellent - the service was very personal and attentive. We had a great breakfast here……an omelet station, really good breads,pastries and cheeses, a selection of juices and great coffee. The location is also good since you can walk around and go to dinner in the neighborhood at night. We had a late lunch one day so only had one dinner in the hotel which was also very good. The same day express laundry service was appreciated also.

Best hotel in La Paz

We stayed here for seven days. This is the best hotel in La Paz with good location. The staff was attentive and the rooms were spacious and clean. We liked their restaurant which has some great international options. My only complaint would be, very few staff know English so sometimes simple things take time to deliver (like room service etc.) or are done wrong.

Beautiful, modern hotel! This hotel is one of the best. The comfortable bedding, the pool, the excellent reception staff, the breakfast. We only had time to stay one night, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Deceiving: airport transfer NOT included

As a female traveling alone, my family was highly concerned about me taking a taxi to the airpot for a very early morning departure. To re-assure them, I decided to book a stay at this hotel for my last night in La Paz. I called directly and spoke to a live person to make the reservation. I made it clear that the only reason I was booking a stay was so I could use the airport transfer, so I asked lots of questions about this transfer (a van, theirs, etc.) and I was reassured. Well, here I am, checking in for $175/night just to give my family peace of mind. I ask the reception to confirm my airport transfer in the morning, and they tell me they will book the taxi, do I want to add that to my room charge or pay directly? WHAT? I could have booked a taxi myself, thank you very much. No point in being in this hotel for me. And the kicker... not a manager in sight to address the situation.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service

This hotel is highly recommended! Not only was it clean, the staff were amazing. To begin, I made a mistake and double booked the reservation - they fixed it immediately and without issue. On a day trip, I lost my wallet, I rang and asked them to check the room with specific instructions- they did so and located it and kept it safely for my return. The transport was top notch. We were able to have a late checkout with no problem. Food and restaurant was amazing. The pool was beautiful and because of the time of year almost abandoned. Breakfast was excellent! And included! I know that a lot of people would not typically choose La Paz as a holiday destination but if you do and like luxury hotels, this is a must!
