We visited this hotel in August. Without exaggeration one of the best all inclusive hotels. Comfortable room with balcony and new. Cleaning every day and change of linen daily. All areas of the hotel very clean. It has staff running around constantly to keep the place clean and tidy Breakfast very good with everything! Many variations with egg, bacon cold meats, cheeses, Greek pies, pancakes and many sweets. Lunch and dinner. I tell you the truth, there is no way you won't find something you like and stay fasting. Despite a very wide variety The quality and taste is really excellent The staff is very kind no matter where they work. There is an area inside the hotel with inflatables and toys for children to play with Excellent in all areas. The children had an amazing time having fun every day in the pool, the playground, the inflatables and the trampoline. Friendly environment for families without noise from the neighboring shops and quiet in all areas. A spotlessly clean renovated hotel with all the comforts of a 5/star accommodation, with excellent services offered by the most courteous and experienced staff. From the manager to the gardener, we received a smile, courtesy and kindness! The difference in our stay was made by the people at the particular accommodation. All polite and always smiling..I must say that Mr. George (hotel manager) makes a special impression..he was everywhere and always ready to serve you!! who was so approachable.. Congratulations to the management for their choices. We had an unforgettable time and will definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience!

We were not disappointed by this hotel. A beautiful setting immediately off the beach. All the staff were amazing, especially Cyn on Reception. They were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much effort. The food was excellent and the menu was varied. Our favourite night was the Chinese night. The bar staff were friendly and quick to serve us. Excellent choice of cocktails. We were not expecting any evening entertainment but what was laid on was excellent especially the Greek music and dancing lessons. The only negative was how cold the pool was. Definitely refreshing. 🥶 We were incredibly sad to leave the hotel on Thursday morning. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday special.

Simply put? It was not ok. The reception staff barely made eye contact or smiled. They were informative about how much things would cost, (of course) but rushed through any explanations, making it hard to follow, what was being said. The room itself was not what we expected. It smelt of mould and there was evidence of mould spots on the curtain leading out to our veranda. Maid came daily towels changed. But had to chase around for fresh pool towels. The roof top bar ( my main reason for booking) was closed! Other guests mentioned this to their reps, who challenged the hotel about it, but they just lied to them and insisted it was open, but I can assure you it wasn't not at any time! Nor was the bistro a-la-carte! Just shocking really, as it clearly states in the brochure & website that it is operational until 31st Oct. And I will say that nearly everyone mentioned this, as they were left chuntering, about how they had been 'sold up the river' on many of the features that simply did not 'feature!' Neither was the inside drinks bar (again they lied to the rep telling her that it was) There was a big storm on the Friday & the whole of the bar area was flooded out, but no attempt at all, was made to bring everyone in to enjoy the indoor bar, until I complained to one of the pool bar staff - who then confirmed they were opening the bar, however..... it only stayed open for a very short time! Which was just insulting to everyone, as we were left with no option but to sit in the storm and freeze! Shutters were pulled down for a short while, but this only served as a wind-breaker for a limited time. Moving around the bar area was just sheer dangerous, and everyone could see it but no regards to guest safety was observed by any of the staff! Terrible! Again not what I would class as a 5* hotel exoerience! The cocktails were grim! The soft drinks were dreadful and the wine was like paint stripper. Red or White No fresh orange juice at breakfast, no catering imagination for U.K guests all geared towards danish & german pallets. Breakfast 'sausage' & 'bacon' was just not good at all. Lunch time, Not much salad choice or fruit. Dinner time was ok....but just o.k food not very warm at all - definitely not on 5* standards. Restaurant staff were just rude! Didnt interact with any guest, regardless of nationality at all- didn't even acknowledge the children! They all just simply looked like they didn't want to be there, no professionalism at all. Most of which were also very un-clean & wearing crumpled clothes, some had had them on for days with stains on them. The cats!!!!! Oh my goodness! It was just ridiculous for cats! Every meal time under your feet, wowing and rubbing past your legs needing food. Then when relaxing (or trying to) on the loungers by the pool, we often had to endure the cats fighting each other. Just not on at all! Ice-Cream was very good however, as was most if not all of the puddings! Coming back to the pool it was freezing cold. The step at the top was broken with sharp plastic left exposed for any adult or child to hurt themselves on. No pool staff to ensure safety was adhered to either. Laganas is a lovely resort however, nearly everything had closed for the season, leaving us all with VERY limited options for things to do in the evenings! Lastly.... why on earth does a 5* hotel have to charge between 6€ & 10€ per day for the use of sunbeds!!! Never ever had to do this anywhere else! It's just ridiculous! This hotel is going to REALLY put people off visiting this beautiful island, which is a shame for the few staff that do care, & do work hard! And on that subject, The one & only 5* that I will pass on however, is for Daniela & Spyros, for their top notch customer service skills! They are the main vein keeping this hotel alive! If it weren't for them & some lovely couples we met along the way, then our experience would have been dreadful! We made it our own, & enjoyed the break but I wouldn't return to this hotel again I'm afraid. They just don't seem to care "because it's end of season' but what they do need to remember though, is that EVERYONE has paid good, hard earned money out to stay there, regardless of the time of year they choose to stay! They are killing their own reputation, but can't seem to recognise they are doing it! 🤷♀️

2 star Hotel, 3 at a push

Currently here in room 116 and writing this as we aren't being listened to. Not 5 star. I've been to better 3 star hotels Rooms are tiny. 4 of us in 12ft x 12ft room. We asked for a bigger room and told no with no help. No reps visit this hotel whatsoever Food is cold and poor selection. The staff put hot food on top of the cold food instead of removing the cold food first and the warming lamps do not work. Charges for sunbeds on the beach Inclusive drinks are vile and you pay high prices for real drinks Showers are cold in the rooms Pool is freezing and the kids barely got in, it seems the heating was turned off Everything is closed but not advertised when booking. The roof top bar, kids club, entertainment, all OFF. Unfriendly staff and a poor welcome where we had no smile or a drink offer on arrival and just demands for forms. We had to chase for towels in our rooms. It's dirty. Tables aren't cleaned between guests. Every single guest here right now is complaining.
