This was a beautiful, relaxing and welcoming hotel. The food was excellent, rooms and communal areas clean and spacious. We stayed in room 216 which was facing the pool and had a large balcony and large bathroom. It was conveniently close to reception and the bar, yet it was quiet and relaxing. Staff were delighted to help their customers and they clearly work hard to ensure their customers have a nice holiday. Well done to the team. We very much look forward to returning to this hotel next year and have recommended it to friends and family already.
Wonderful hotel in every way!

My family and I stayed here for a week and had a really wonderful stay. I'd say it's an excellent hotel in every way. I don't often go back twice to the same hotel but this is one that I would be extremely keen to return to. Dora from "bookings" was exceptionally helpful and friendly when I was dithering between two separate rooms or a 2 bedroom apartment. Dora called me back, checked things out and answered all my questions. In the end we chose the apartment and we weren't disappointed. Comfortable beds with nice linens, fully equipped kitchen, maid service everyday. Three bathrooms, outdoor space and roof loungers - it was so spacious! (Just missing a sea view to be absolutely perfect). We were welcomed with some strawberries dipped in chocolate and a bottle of carva, which was a nice touch after our long journey. The weather was beautiful when we were there. Grounds and pool were well maintained and even though the hotel was completely full when we were there, there was plenty of room at every pool on the comfortable loungers - the umbrellas provided good shade. The breakfasts were a dream come true! We had a friendly welcome from one slightly older waiter in particular who always remembered who we were and if any of our kids had already been in. Beautiful fruits carefully prepared (loved the mango!) and there was everything that anyone could possibly want. The coffee was good and plentiful (2nd and 3 rd cups came quickly when asked). Coffee is important part of breakfast for me and I often find it watery in hotels. The little cakes and breads were lovely. It was thoughtfully laid and presented. I liked the hand sanitisers placed around the buffet and used them regularly. The only thing is that a few mornings not all of the guests wore masks whilst at the breakfast buffet which might have made some other guests feel unsafe. I don't know if mask wearing was a fixed rule when we were there. All the waiters worked so hard and were polite and friendly. We went to senses restaurant one night and had a table inside. The food was quite good and the service and wine were of a 5* standard. I found the restaurant too brightly lit to have a really conducive atmosphere. The outdoor terrace looked cosier and would recommend that rather than sitting inside. I was glad that we hadn't booked half or full board options since we enjoyed the atmosphere in Lagos town in the evening a lot. IN October the town was buzzing and many restaurants were fully booked and with queues. We had great food in the more informal bar at lunchtimes - kids loved the steak sandwiches and I enjoyed the prawns. We all used the gym and the equipment was of a high standard. I went to a fitness class (core training) and wish I could have done some more. The trainer was very nice. My husband and son enjoyed the tennis courts and the spa and pool were lovely. Just wish I could have stayed longer than the week! It was an amazingly restful stay and one that I can whole heartedly recommend.
Excellent and relaxing.

Stayed in an apartment for a week. A bit slow letting us check in but otherwise we had a very good stay. Apartment was very big and comfortable. It was very clean and housekeeping called every day to maintain it. Very good kitchenette with top class appliances. Shower pressure was fantastic. Although keeping the bathroom floor dry when showering is an effort! A choice of swimming pools and also areas to walk nearby. Half an hour walk from the main old town area which we enjoyed going to the restaurants in the evening.

Just back from a weekend stay at this most relaxing resort. We got a pool facing room (all rooms very spacious and a huge bed), with verandah overlooking the pool area. Breakfasts were outstanding with huge choice of hot and cold buffet. Good meal in the Lighthouse Bar and also food from Mundi. Disappointed with Senses Restaurant, long wait, tiny portions, left hungry. Very attentive and helpful staff at reception and a big shout out to a very efficient Tina in the restaurant. Could walk to town as it's mostly downhill (about 30mins) but taxi home only costs about €5. Plenty of pool space and could always use the Spa pool or the Sandy beach pool near the apartments if the main pool was busy. Lovely safe 15 minute walk along the sea and cliff tops to the lighthouse. Nearest beach is about 15 mins walk also to the west but again you'll have a climb home. Well done to all and thank you.

Beautiful 5 star resort with great attention to detail. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and I cannot remember the last time I slept so well. There was lots of space to sit outside and have lunch, the gorgeous beach pool nearby was a lovely place to relax and the staff were gracious and efficient. The only small issue we had, and I had read it in other reviews si hakd expected it was that we arrived at 12,30 and knew that check in was at 2 so we explained we were going to go for lunch and they said they would call us when the room was ready. By 3pm it wasn't ready so we drove into Lagos which is about 10 min drive away and waited for the call. They just have forgotten but when we got back after 4 they said it was ready and gave us the room keys. The view from the bar is beautiful and the gym facilities are excellent. Very well laid out gym with top class equipment and it was very clean. You have to book your session online and that is easy enough via an app. There wasn't availability on Saturday or Sunday when I tried to book but the rest of the week was straight forward. Maybe they only open Monday to Friday. The main drag with the majority of restaurants is a 30 minute walk from the resort which is a pleasant walk as long as you dont mind hills all the way back to the resort on your way home. The apartment was very well equipped with top class appliances and there were gorgeous loccitaine products in the bathroom..this resort has literally thought of everything. Loved it. Thanks to all there.
