relaxing weekend
A quirky B&B on the outskirts of Lakes Entrance, hanging off a steep hill with beautiful views across Bass Strait. The structure is a little labyrinthine, like something out of Harry Potter, with lots of stairs. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a little awkward. Service is excllent. Breakfasts are fresh-cooked and tasty. All-in-all, a pleasant place to stay for a weekend in the Lakes. You will need a car.
Highlight of our trip so far
Honestly didn't expect this, the views are amazing, wildlife everywhere, dog friendly, spa bath inside which overlooked the views, comfy bed, massive deck area, we didn't really use the common area as we loved our deck so much, but from our little inspection there were games and books everywhere, maps and info, and good views from that particular deck, also full kitchen with everything u need. Sheree was VERY accommodating and even baked us muffins! Will definitely come back!
Friendly one night stop
Interesting lodge-like house with comfortable rooms and beds. Lynne, our host was a big help on areas to visit and avoid due to the bush fires. Lovely view, good breakfast, a good stop for one night or longer to explore the area.

Friendly family run business. Fantastic views with binoculars supplied. Clean cosy rooms with a quaint decor. Comfortable bed. Generous breakfast including home grown fruit. Much better than a boring motel room.
Surprising
We got the room with the spabath and ocean view. And had the whole floor for our own with breakfast table, couch and chairs with oceanview. The host Lynn was very friendly. The house is fully decorated with all kind of things, but makes it also cosy this way. Breakfast could have a bit better, as eggs we're not served, everything was set up the night before. Also due to the fact, I think, that we were the only guests, due to the bushfires all bookings We're canceled. But a real nice place to stay with awesome view. Host also recommended a very good restaurant.
