More about the hotel
Nice quite place to stay in the winter
Last winter my husband and I stayed for two months here, the staff is beyond perfect and so helpful. It’s June now and we checked in on Sunday, they gave us a beautiful one bedroom sweet which we loved, that is until we went to bed, our beautiful room was above their barbecue area where a group decided to have a cookout they were out there until well past eleven pm this happened the next night, the front desk said the area was open 24 hrs so nothing could be done about the noise, we moved rooms for a 2 bed room. The day staff was great and very helpful in finding us a quiet room
I am having a hard time with this review, please read. Probably just my pet peave.
Walk in and very large entry way. Polite staff. Got into our room very nice. Has full kitchen, very nicely stocked. I think this property is a place for more than a one or two nights stay. This establishment is a completely green hotel. I totally agree,we must do everything we can to save our great earth. I just had a hard time with not having my bed made. I wasn't told this hotel doesn't have maid service unless you stay a week. We are not messy, I just like my bed, at least made. One garbage can so you either put it in the bath room or put in the kitchen an walk back and forth. Comfortable beds. Make great lemonade and Choclate Chip cookies. If you want clean towels they request you go to the front desk. If need a place to stay for a long period of time, stay here. Pets are welcome which is wonderful. Laundry is available and is free. Coffee always available. Enjoy!
A Quick Overnight Stay
We needed a place to stay between Lacey and Seattle and this location worked for us. The hotel is very clean and staff are friendly. The airline lost my bag and when it was delivered they called my room right away. The hotel was in the middle of renovation but that wasn't disruptive. However, we did find that we were able to hear people walking through the halls so that was a little disruptive. Other than that this a nice hotel for a quick stay.
Newly updated, fantastic staff, family and pet-friendly
I stay here any time I have a longer stay in the Joint Base Lewis-McChord area. The hotel itself is well-appointed, especially for an 'extended-stay' type hotel. Lots of free amenities including 24 hour coffee, free laundry, free BBQ area, a clean and roomy workout area, free wi-fi, and free checkout of DVD movies. The rooms are unusually spacious and feature very comfortable beds. Also pet-friendly, though the $75 fee is steep for a short stay. The staff is FANTASTIC! If you need something, just ask and they will do their utmost to help. The local area isn't wonderful, but is convenient to lots of local attractions. An especially good choice for military families or people with access to Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Wonderful Place for Short/Extended Stay
Arrived in Tacoma without a room to stay in as Extended Stay America gave my room away. I called on the phone to make a reservation with Candlewood Suites. The reservation was made and the staff were more than accommodating after I explained what happened. This is a pet friendly hotel and I'm allergic to both cats and dogs. The front desk staff researched which rooms were recently deep cleaned and I was given a tour to review and select a room prior to actually booking. This hotel caters to displaced families. So every room has a full kitchenette area, equipped with tableware, kitchen essentials-pots, pans, Tupperware, even a few condiments; dishwasher, stove, microwave and full sized refrigerator. All rooms have a blu-ray player and a free movie take out service at the front desk. The room was clean, no pet hair anywhere, spacious, and the beds are comfortable. I was there 5 days, 4 nights and I honestly felt as if I were at home. If ever in the area, I'd surely stay there again. I simply loved everything about this place.
