Great athmospher, beautiful environment “feels like a comfortable home”

We stayed in this Chambres d’Hotel for two nights and we will defenitely come back with the family or with friends. The beautifull property and her very friendly owners are a true invitation for a holiday where comfort and nature are perfectly combined. The rooms where very cosy and proper and all comfort was around. There was a good swimming pool which was enjoyed by the kids, also the Jacuzzi should not be forgotten. But ofcourse, run by the lovely family Helene and Emanuel made our stay a good start of the Holidays, this included all suggestions to discover the area of The Lot. The property can also be rented for a bigger group such as friends and more family. We will surely remember and hopefully return in the future. Tip: the area is very fanous because of the Truffles (black). A ‘must go to’ in the period December-March.
Fantastic one night stay

We spent one night at La Vayssade and it was fantastic. Superb place to visit and stay. Room was exceptional and well maintained (the bed was unbelievably comfortable). The communal area was beautiful and very comfortable to chill out. We refrained from using the pool but did use the outdoor Jacuzzi not long after we arrived. We dined at Fourchettes & Couteaux which was one of the recommended local restaurants which we found was a great recommendation.. thank you. We were given some great information regarding what sightseeing we should do the next day as well as time spent answering our questions on the history of the buildings at the guesthouse. Thank you for an enjoyable stay and for your helpfulness and friendliness. We hope to return.
Like a part of the Family

Called a B&B with an accompanying Gites, this Chambre des Hotes is a well run family establishment. Rooms are rustic in origin with excellent modern comforts. Space is abundant. Breakfast each day features local products and is plentiful. A table de hote is offered with excellent preparation and endless portions. This family couple that manages and runs all aspects of La Vayssade is multilingual, attentive and eager to ease. Our 8 days made us feel like part of the family.
Great place to stay

My wife and I stayed her in July for 4 nights. We had know the owner's parents before they handed over to Helene & Emmanuel, when we owned a house nearby for nearly 20 years. The accommodation, breakfast, pool & ambiance could not be faulted and we can recommend it without reservation.Much better value than similar stays elsewhere in France. The converted barn which is the main building is an absolute delight.
6 - "Man" cycling group

We were a group of six cyclists doing day trips from La Vayssade. (Beautiful cycling country by the way.) The accommodation and indoor dining and lounge area is in a beautifully converted barn with double-height in the common area. Open beams and comfortable, tasteful furnishings and decorations. My room was comfortable as well with a great shower and plenty of hanging space. The grounds were very large and pleasant with trees for shade and lots of sleep-inducing chairs. There was plenty of space for the bikes. We had almost all out meals outside - real treat. Emanuel did most of the cooking which, because it was so delicious, resulted in us foregoing the delights of sampling nearby restaurants to eat "in", except on his cooking-free night: Aperitifs, (different each night), and nibbles on the lawn followed by a 4-course meal with wine. Breakfasts were also generous including fresh fruit, yoghurts, home-made conserves and warm croissants. But the highlight was the welcome and care we received from Emanuel and Helene. We arrived back each day exhausted and sweaty from our cycling efforts and the heat to find a tray of cold water and syrups waiting for us. They made themselves available to be around for the uncertain delivery and collection times for our bikes. And most of all very, very kindly collected my mobile, which I had left in Cahors on our journey back to Toulouse airport, and tucked it into one of the saddlebags. They were a most warm and friendly couple and, once they had sized us up, very funny. I can't recommend this Chambres D'hôtes and Tables highly enough. BOOK NOW!
