We live in 2020, right!. My wife just checked in to this hotel. When we booked they claimed free access to WIFI. They lie about this service. It simply doesn’t work. My wife has alerted the staff of this hotel about this. She gets no service. This is not a hotel of 2020 standard!

A good friendly and comfortable hotel

A good friendly hotel that did not break the bank. The hotel is approximately three km north of Don Mueang Airport. The staff were friendly and the check in process was seamless. The room was basic, at best, but clean and comfortable. The wifi was relaible and free. There is a vast array of shops and markets outside the hotel. Recommended.

Perfect for Transiting Don Muang or Accommodations in Rangsit Area

The Asia Airport Don Muang Hotel is a rather large property near the Don Muang airport in Bangkok. I booked this hotel using Agoda.com. It looks like it was built in the late 80’s or early 90’s although the rooms have been refurbished for sure. It is convenient to that north end of town near Rangsit, which is why I chose it. The hotel and the room were clean and met my wife’s and my needs perfectly for a hotel in that area to visit family. There is a large pool that was clean although we did not use it. Room service is 24 hours and is very reasonably priced. The food was quite good and the portions good as well. Perfect for night arrival and needing a bite to eat. The hotel retains some trusted taxi drivers. They called one for us to take us to the Mochit New Van Terminal about 25 minutes away. The driver was polite and professional. Taxi was clean. Note: This is not a resort, but it is a clean, affordable hotel with a really nice staff. If that’s what you’re looking for – or you are looking for a hotel as you transit the Don Muang airport – this is a solid choice. Reasonably priced, I have booked a stay there for when my wife and I come through Bangkok later this month. Tips to know: 1. You have to take an elevator to the lobby which is on the 10th floor. The bottom part of the hotel is a convention center. Don’t worry, there is an person on duty to assist you. 2. I had internet included by booking with Agoda, but a sign in the room looked like that may not be the case with all bookings. The sign looked like it may be approximately 450 baht per day (About $15 US per day). We were only given login passwords for 2 devices. We are a couple months shy of flipping the calendar to 2020, so in this day and age I find this surprising. Even coffee shops have free Wi-Fi. 3. There is a mall basically adjoining the hotel. It’s not the high-end shopping, but it has an Amazon Café coffee shop, Starbucks, plenty of restaurants, as well as some specialty shops. There is a 7-11 there too, which is convenient for picking up all the little toiletries and snacks you didn’t want to pack. I recommend checking out Asia Airport Don Muang Hotel for the reasons I did. Happy traveling and exploring!

Excellent Hotel

The hotel is Excellent, rooms are clean and well maintained. I was however disappointed with the long hallways: hot, stuffy and no air circulation. Pool is awesome and the staff very courteous. You can certainly provide more breakfast options and more complimentary water bottles coffee/tea, whitener. Wi-Fi is unstable.

Fantastic hotel located close to the airport. Rooms are clean and spacious with all necessities. Street markets outside to explore during a stopover. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
