Beautiful hotel
We stayed here on a bike trip and enjoyed this hotel in Landshut. The location is a bit away from the center of town or the river, but is easily walkable to the center. The hotel had bicycle storage. The woman behind the reception desk was extremely friendly, offering us apple cider when checking in. The room was quite comfortable, with a large bathroom and nice furnishings. They have a terrace in the back, which is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was great. We also ate dinner here , which can only be described as over the top fine dining.
In general, excellent
The hotel is generally very good - great location only a short walk from the old town and close to public transport, rooms are a generous size and well fitted-out, and breakfast is very good. Parking is available. Staff are very ready to answer any queries you may have. The only niggle was the bed - it is much, much too soft! I found myself trying to get away from the middle of it to avoid sinking down too far and almost fell off the edge instead!
Spontaneous trip
We live in Munich and decided we would have a night away. As we pulled in the entrance we were met by a smile from a young man that was leaving who later turned out to be the breakfast waiter. We were impressed with everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left everywhere was spotlessly clean and fresh. The owner should be very proud of his hotel and his staff who were always polite and helpful. The lady on reception explained everything Including a city tour that you could go on in the evening. If you are visiting Munich you should definitely visit Landshut and experience this hotel and a wonderful city with lots to see and do. Thank you to the staff we met during our extremely short but wonderful stay. its five stars ***** from my wife and I. We will be back soon.
Special hotel in the positive way!
At first we had a suite on the fourth floor, no elevator which was in the description but overlooked by us. Immediately we got a suite on the first floor, this was initiated by the hotel staff after heard that i had hip surgery.
Great Ambience and Friendly Service
This is a traditional style hotel with lots of personality throughout. The keys are actually metal keys and the hotel shows signs of a long history in many areas. The best thing about this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff - they really made me feel welcome. Other good points included delicious food (especially at dinner), ample closet space, washcloths, free and functioning wi-fi, and an abundance of TV channels. Minor negative points were the lack of an elevator and the bed being very soft.
