Not good

Reviewed 30 march, 2022

The room was clean enough, however one of the chairs was broken, the TV stand was broken, the elevator didn't work, no cable channel directory. Those were the big things along with some other minor problems.

Great stay for the price on priceline

Reviewed 28 june, 2021

Our room was complete with soft sheets and pillows, microwave and fridge- for the money, ($70 a night) it was worth it. The pool was closed- and the breakfast was just okay- they had sausage biscuit sandwiches and bananas etc. The woman in the breakfast area that was cleaning the tables and pouring coffee was very pleasant. The hotel did smell like marijuana on the second floor which was a bit much at times. If you need a cheap place for an overnight, work through a third party for a better deal or call and see if they will match the price!

Run Down

Reviewed 19 january, 2021

Where to start? COVID mask laws were not followed by staff. Breakfast - they were out of most of their already very limited breakfast items every day. Housekeeping - there was no housekeeping, although I stayed there six nights. The Room - the mattress was old and broken down with a significant sway. The phone was broken - never worked. Cleanliness was barely OK, with lots of dust in all the corners, broken and dirty caulk, and a spiderweb. Staff was friendly, but that was the only plus. I do not recommend staying here to anyone, ever.

Was someone in our room?

Reviewed 23 february, 2020

We stayed one night for a concert in Lapeer. The bed frame was coming apart but it did not the affect the bed itself which was comfortable. When we left and we turned off all the lights except one when we returned there was 3 light on I don't know why someone was in our room but nothing was missing or out of place I thought maybe they did a turn down service but the beds were not turned down still scratching my head about why someone was in our room. The breakfast was good and the employee was very friendly.

Never again

Reviewed 29 november, 2019

If this hotel is all that Lapeer offers then they are in trouble for tourist. I am originally from this town and was home for Thanksgiving. The reservation we walked into was sub par from the get go. The website said they had a hot tub,and even a sign in the lobby for one,but it doesn't exist. False advertising!.The blinds and lamp shades are dirty. The mediocre flat screen TV had what we think was wine splatter on the screen,we hope it was wine at least!. The wife wanted to soak in the tub because they lacked the hot tub,but the drain wouldn't plug...it gets better..I complained so a maintenance man came at 830am,while we were sleeping to fix it. Then we leave for the day and come back and the room wasn't cleaned,no beds were made, wet towels still on the floor, trash in the cans. What kind of msg are they sending tourist here??.This place is a dump..On 3 different floors all the vending machines were out of bottled water.I had to go to the front desk to ask for water..This place is a joke.I cannot believe we paid 100+ dollars a night to stay here.We will stay at the Best Western or a motel next time. Or another town for that matter.I believe I will be calling corporate on this.Way to make our holiday great for coming home to Lapeer.Never again!
