More about the hotel
an amazing location for a beach visit
me and my friend stayed here for three nights, I popped my head out of the window and it was less than 100 metres to the promenade and beach front the promenade has some nice beaches, part of the beach has rocky barrier reef, further down some nice cafes and ice cream parlours and a nice auditorium to see. the other side has some nice restaurants ,beach to chill out or watch volleyball or beach tennis. the room was nice at the hotel and the staff were friendly
maximum value
I give this simple, clean, friendly, fair and polite accommodation 5 stars with a clear conscience. I don't know 24 hour reception in this price range. For the breakfast buffet alone, which is also available for non-guests for € 7, I would come back at any time. gracias
Great location but tired building.
We stayed here for one night only. It’s in a fantastic location, literally yards from the beach and long promenade. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and, if it’s sunny, a great place to sit and watch the world go by and look out to sea. The hotel isn’t that expensive. It’s a three star but is really a two. Breakfast was included in our price but I think you can pay less and go without. If you pay for breakfast there it is €7. Buffet style, eat all you can - cakes, breads, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, salads, meats, cereals plus limitless coffee, tea and juice. Really good value and enjoyable. There is a soulless lounge area. The staff were very friendly. We arrived four hours earlier than check in and that wasn’t a problem. We were always greeted when we came in. Our room was clean and had ample storage space, plus a fridge. Old dark wood cheap furniture. Big bathroom with bath and complimentary shower gel. The room(s) were obviously once self catering as there was another sink in the bedroom and cupboards underneath had been removed and replaced with a curtain. Evidence of black mould by the window. However, huge comfortable bed and a tv. Car parking is a big issue - or lack of it, The nearest car park is probably a good third of a mile away and cost €15 overnight. No on street parking at all. There are lifts in the hotel and disabled access to the building. Basically, not too bad for a short stay or if you are planning to be out all day and just need a clean, basic place to stay.
Really good value
We stayed at this hotel for a week, the rooms were cleaned everyday, and the staff were lovely. The breakfast is continental, so no hot food. Our room was twin bedded and had a small kitchen area. There is no bar or entertainment at this hotel, nor is there a pool, this was not a problem as it is yards from the beach. It has a central location, so all the bars, restaurants and shops are nearby.
Worth the price!
Stayed here for about 2 days in April. The rooms are clean and spotless. Excellent service and friendly staff. My room had a balcony which was surrounded by buildings which I found wierd because why have a balcony at all if there is no view. Superb breakfast buffet gives you enough energy to roam around the city and the beaches which is nearby.
