Worth all the praise
1478 lived up to all the praise it has received. The suites are beautifully designed and I actually measured the space as I could not believe that it was not bigger than the 49m2 stated. As regards the staff the place feels more as if it were a co-operative than an conventional management structure. Everyone seemed to be able to do everything, for example making reservations and answering questions. One day a “waiter” was doing the flower-arranging . . . and we were not surprised. The level of service is incredible. We have stayed in ***** hotels with Nespresso machines before but nowhere else was the water-tank refilled every day. As a bonus the restaurant must be one of the finest on the island. I will review it separately. Finally, as will become important in the present situation, the cleanliness was absolute. 36 hours before our arrival Gran Canaria had been subject to a Saharan sand-storm. We never found a grain anywhere in the building. We aim to return for a longer stay as soon as possible.
Excellence
We entered the restaurant to visit the beautiful patio and the art pieces on display, and came the day after for dinner, due to the friendliness of the people, the enciting menu and the charming ambience. The restaurant provides tasty and surprising dishes, elaborated with local produce, and accompanied by a refined selection of wines. The attentiveness and knowledge of the restaurant team, and the passion for perfection they display makes this restaurant a great choice and a place to return.
Amazing boutique hotel
We were absolutely in love with this place from the minutes we arrive. Everything is thought about, from the design, the interior, the many artpieces, the service(so professionel, warm and helpfull). The suites Are huge and exclusivily made. The breakfast is outstanding and one of the best we ever had in a hotel. The restaurant is Michelin worthy. We will defenately come again to this fantastic gem in an Nice quit place in Las Palmas, through fill of good restaurants.

The hotel was just the best,not a thing I would change! The room was very spacious and the bed sooo comfy.. we had a balcony, which was a bonus! The food was lovely , lots of choice at breakfast, and very well cooked and presented .Miriam was the best, from greeting us, to taking care of us during our holiday there. Greetings to all the staff, and thankyou for a wonderful stay..If we return to Las Palmas you will be our first choice!!
Ideal hotel in the heart of ideal city
We stayed in 1478 twice during our vacation. The second time was not in plan but we didn't like our hotel in the south and decided to come back to 1478. We loved this hotel from the first sight! Great archtecture, the spirit of the old town, but inside the hotel you can enjoy with modern and new facilities, awesome design, fantastic terrase with the Cathedral view. But even more we liked Lucia and team, they really made us feel like home! The location was great for us, we cought walk to every part of the city we need. We had a car and a garage was very great opportunity for us. Our doughter liked the dogs in front of Cathedral, so every morning and evening we came to say hello to the dogs. We liked the breakfast in the hotel, it was really tasty and healthy in the same time. We will come again to 1478 with a pleasure!
