Just back from a stay at Circus Circus... don't do it! The amenities consisted of a nonfunctional iron, 4 plastic glasses and an ice bucket, a constant stench of marijuana and surly bartenders. But wait there's more! You also get... NO cell service of any kind on most of the main floors, check in lines that take 45-90+ minutes, long lines to use elevators, elevators that require key card use to access only the floor you are on, no access to friends or family on other floors, filthy common areas, did I mention the stench of marijuana everywhere you go? Time share sales people waiting to wring every last dollar out of your wallet for years to come accosting you at every hallway intersection.
I won't even waste your time describing the second floor. If you've read this far you have only yourself to blame for inflicting this place upon yourself, or even worse your family.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at

Old, dirty, room dirty as well, they never made the room!!! , non smoking room smells like 100 people had smoked there.
We asked to speak to the manager at 10 pm when we got back because the room was not been cleaned up and they said he was out for "lunch".... yes, lunch at 10pm at night.
Never ever ever stay here.
Go ahead and search for another hotel

We booked this on a last minute trip for fight night because everything else was booked. I knew the hotel would be outdated since it’s such an old property; however, we didn’t expect it to be so trashy. I can’t say when there was basic maintenance. I had trouble with my key to use the elevator and to get into my room. I had to remove and reinsert multiple times, then bang the reader for it to finally work. The other reviews are accurate when it comes to customer service, it doesn’t exist. The check in lines are absolutely insane. The rooms are bare minimum, the AC is not cold enough and I in the desert that’s a basic. It may be cheap on non-fight nights but spend a little more and stay elsewhere. In the future I would rather stay off the strip before booking this again.

Worst experience in 70 years. Customer service is non-existent. Clerks are too busy using their phones to answer a question. Elevators all malfunction, taking you to different floors other than what you request. Filthy casino(what little their is) Hotel caters to rowdy children and non-disciplinary parents. Room was dirty, with a carpet that looked 30 years old. When I got to check-in line, there were exactly 110 people ahead of me.(70) I reserved 2 days, 2 nights, but left after 8 hours. It was miserable. In the 70's and 80's, I loved this place, Reminds me of a fair on the worst side of town. Pay a little extra and go somewhere else. Unless you enjoy pain.
Vist, but lodge someplace else...

We were staying at another hotel, but, Circus Circus was on our list of places to see while in Vegas. Walking in we were hit by an intense smell of filth and smoke. The casino carpets were grimy and it likely hasn't been updated much since the 80s (or before).
We were approached by a man looking for cash (saying he would pay us back through a cash app.--UM NO!!) We walked into the midway area, which was SUPER crowded. The scenery was dated, dingy and dark-- it reminded me of a horror movie-star ones with scary clowns.
The circus performance was a trapeze show. This I must say was a neat experience-plus, it was free!
A family with kids would enjoy the midway and rides. It was a decent experience to walk through, as it is such an iconic spot. However, there is no way in hell I would stay here! The hour we walked around was enough of an experience for me (shady characters, dark, dingy, pot smells)-it just gave me bad vibes. I must say, this could be such a cool place with some much needed renovations and TLC! All and all-stop by and experience Circus Circus, but maybe take a.look elsewhere for lodging.
