Old hotel, hard to sleep...very loud outside
Four queens is a pretty old hotel/casino. The casino is old, small n smokey. The rooms were kinda beat up. Needed repainted n new carpet. U could tell it had been redone a long time ago n just not kept up with. The loud music n noise from Fremont St makes it hard to sleep for some ppl. The other couple w were with complained about it, but we were so tired from walking so much we passed out. It wasn't the best, but u can good a good deal if u call directly & theres no resort fees!
Not bad at all
Stayed here in September 2020 . I must admit It’s old but, it’s the “feel “ it’s old LV ; Mafia , Rat Pack , Chicago , Tony “ The Ant” and Frank Culotta . It’s when Vegas was in its hay day ! Not bad , it’s musty smell of smoke , it’s really retro but it’s all good cause the people that work there are fantastic!
No Resort Fee
Stayed here for the first time while downtown, never knew that they had no resort fees, which saved me about $65 for the two nights. Room was comfortable but dated and was right above the Freemont Experience - a bit loud, although we were able to sleep. The gaming staff could use some personality, tried to play Roulette, but I felt like I was bothering her (the dealer) and no true interaction with here and the players, doesn't make for a fun table, plus I noticed that not a lot of people were playing the tables there. Other staff were very friendly.
We wanted to experience a stay on Fremont street. We stayed here but should have chosen better. The casino is retro. The room was small but adequate. The problem was the noise from the FS experience. Hard to imagine in these days of low occupancy that there were no better room options. I spoke to the front desk and their response was laughter. We have had the experience now. Next time back to the strip.
Not a fan of the Casino
We stayed Oct 29-Nov 1. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, pillows a little flat, but we all slept great. The check in staff were great. Mary is a pleasure to deal with. The restaurant staff were great. The custodian Jonathon was wonderful and helpful. That’s where it ends. The casino staff were inattentive, and seemed to not care. I had a ticket stuck in a machine for over an hour. I had to change reservations for a tour we had because no one wanted to help me get my money from the machine. When help finally did come, Liz was less than thrilled to be helping me. She called the shift boss Alex and he didn’t even respond to her on the radio. When we finally did get to talk to him he said he didn’t answer her because he had other things to do. He kept looking at his watch when we talked to him. It’s not enough to make me not stay there again, but it was not pleasant dealing with them.
