Great hotel
I traveled with 4 other family members. It was a wonderful getaway after not seeing family in over a year due to CovID. The location is on the strip, you can easily catch the public bus right across the street if you ain't want to walk the entire strip or go to Fremont. All of the staff we came in contact with was great and security was serious about making everyone not eating, drinking, or smoking(in the casino) wear their masks properly. That made me feel secure in my travel although CovId is still going on. The rooms were great and the beds were comfortable (West Tower). I completed my checking and checkout using the app and it saved so much time for enjoying my family instead of standing in the long checkin line.
Our stay
It's was a great stay, walking distance from the strip but it did take us a while to get there. The strip was really filled with people so we stayed at the hotel and it was not as busy as others. It was great.
Nice at first then..
Once checked in, got situated in the room it was nice. I was wiping the counter down and found mouse droppings. Put us in another room, only refunded us for one night. No manager called. Won’t stay again
Very bad service!
Construction going on while we were trying to sleep. Bad service and long wait times at the pyramid cafe. We are never staying here again! This was our first time at the Luxor and just no good service! Our room didn’t even get cleaned and we had to ask twice to get clean towels just to bathe!
Smoke Alarms should be Checked 24/7
My fiance and I were woken up at 5am from a beeping smoke alarm in our room. We were told it needed a battery change. These should be Checked prior to guest arrival and checkin. This was a very rude awakening and we had a long day ahead of us to have had been woken up so earlier on vacation. Horrible experience!!
