Nice place, horrible customer service, ruined vacation
We thought the property was quite charming, and our room was fine. But our very short stay was ruined by the either cold or non existent customer service. The initial impression was that it seemed cold. Nobody seemed to notice we were there, and nobody on the staff greeted people moving around the hotel. Ultimately, an inexcusably bad experience left a bad taste that stayed with us. While I was away from the hotel, my wife left her key card at the pool, so she couldn’t get in to the room. Standing at the door with food she had brought up, the first security person refused to let her in, presumably because she was not on the guest list (I was). My wife explained that she could prove that she belonged in the room by opening the safe. The guard refused, saying she had to wait for me to return to get back to the room. Which of course really upset my wife. Especially as she had to wait a long time for various other security people to come up and “protect” the first. Ultimately, she went back down and found that, in contrast to what the security people said, she could get a key at the kiosk. Back up to the room, cold food, pissed off. But that wasn’t it. While I was enjoying my visit to another resort, I got a call from the hotel, which never told my wife that they would do it, telling me that there was “a woman very upset and crying” at the front desk and I needed to come back immediately. No explanation, but I was panicked thinking that something so traumatic had happened that my wife couldn’t call. As I ran a mile back, my imagination swam with nightmares I was thinking might be going on at home. By the time I got to the front desk, my wife had made it to the room, and nobody at the desk knew anything about it. Meantime I had swallowed my heart. Incredibly, the security manager saw nothing wrong with all of this. He couldn’t care less about all the anguish he had caused us both, spouting over and over about procedures they had to follow. Like he couldn’t have simply called me to ask if the supposedly unknown woman was my wife. Absolutely no understanding that he and his staff should give some thought to the comfort of the guests. What a mean spirited moron. The hotel manger later showed some empathy, but we were underwhelmed. So in the end, we felt like cattle with a wallet. No way we will go back there.
Would give a zero ,
Very dirty hotel . Sheets that felt like tissue paper, toilet paper was like sandpaper. The filtered air still smelled like smoke & wasn’t fresh . Clean towels where still dirty , rooms weren’t cleaned well
Amazing views, romantic setting
Check in and out was easy. Our hotel room had the view of the Bellagio fountain so that was amazing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The only thing that was a downside is trying to find a table at the restaurant in the hotel.
quick Vegas Trip
Just not great customer service. Everyone was in a bad mood and seemed annoyed. The hotel was ok. The pool was a strange experience you have to tan with a mask on more than six feet away in 95 degree weather from people, but you can swim in a pool with 30 people without a mask.
Rude staff
I had a very bad experience at the casino bar. Within two minutes of sitting at the bar, a bartender approached me and my wife, but not to ask if I wanted to order, but to put away a dirty glass. I took the opportunity to ask him for a drink and he rudely replied, that he wasn’t giving me a drink because I hadn’t played the poker machine. Like I said I was only there for no longer than two minutes, and wasn’t asking for a comp drink, but rather pay for it, since I knew I had just arrived. He didn’t give me a chance to tell him that I was going to pay for it, before he walked away. He then returned to us after about 10 minutes just to tell me and my wife that he wasn’t going to deal with us because it was the second time he asked us to put on our mask, and asked us to leave. First he hadn’t told us anything about having a mask while sitting at the bar. How am I supposed to drink if I need to be wearing it while sitting down. We proceeded to walk to another bar, and because there was only one seat, I stood behind my wife while she put money in the poker machine. The money had barely been inserted when a female bartender approached me a rudely told me Covid rules don’t allow anyone to stand behind another person. She was loud and very rude. I don’t think anyone knows that rule, and she walked away without asking for a drink order. The bar wasn’t full at all, it seemed pretty slow, and I wasn’t given the opportunity to ask for a drink. I finally sat away from that bar and walked to another area to get a drink, that bartender was very friendly and served us. While sitting I briefly went to the restroom and when I returned, my wife was being asked why she was there alone. My wife told her she was waiting for me to return from the restroom, as soon as she saw me, she walked away without apologizing or saying anything about why she was questioning her. We weren’t loud, drunk, and we didn’t stand out. I am a Marine veteran with a shaved head, I can only assume it was my appearance. I will never visit this Hotel again
