Horrible room experience, rooms need a major uplift
Reviewed 30 november, 2021
Stayed at the Orleans hotel this weekend. The casino & restaurants were great. Good service, descent food. However, the hotel room. Firstly, the rooms were not clean, they have a musty stench. The bathrooms are just awful. The shower button wouldn't lift, had to struggle for 5 minutes to finally get it to work. On the 3rd night, the button wouldn't work at all, couldn't take a shower. Lastly, the window in the bathroom had a broken handle, couldn't open or close the window to let out the steam. Sadly, the hotel rooms need a major cleaning and remodel. They are so old, dingy and outdated. It's been the same for at least 20+ years.
You get what you pay for.

I stayed at the Orleans for 3 nights. It is not on the strip. But the price is much cheaper compared to the hotels on the strip. The rooms are fine, but desperately need some updating. I had a nice view from the window. I ordered room service for breakfast, and the price was not too bad. The service was faster than I expected. I assume, due to Covid, there were not a lot of options for places to eat. I was in town for meetings and did not spend any time in the Casino. Based on the services and amenities available, the resort fee is a little difficult to justify.
The Older you get the better

The Orleans could be like the old wine saying, “The older the wine the better it is”. The Orleans meets that title. I have been staying at the Orleans for 18yrs and has observed it get better as it gets older. It has added new restaurants like Bailwick, Alder & Birch and The Whisk. They compliment the famous Prime Rib Loft. It also added TGI’F along with an expanded food court. Guests have experienced new upgraded rooms over the last 5 years. There is a state of art movie theater with new seating, sound and movie selection. A newly refurbished bowling alley entertains the guests. A kiddie play area in on the premises and a new renovated pool area. Guests will also enjoy top shows in the Showroom and at the Orleans Arena. Not to be missed is the casino floor with the newest slots and table games. The Orleans also has the friendliest and courteous slot attendants. Guests have commented on their friendly and service to the machines. Over the many years observing them one continuously stands out. (Brenda) Is very professional and personable. Guests can also feel secure with 24/7 security at the room elevators. Easy registration has also continued to improve. With free parking, free shuttle to the strip, the Orleans continues to improve and gets better with age. I will continue to make it my Hotel/Casino and watch it continuously improve
Great stay at the Orleans Las Vegas

We checked in on the 7th of Nov. and stayed for 8 days. Mr Thompson a casino host took great care of us. On the first night my wife and I noticed that the bed was in really bad shape and had a huge sag inthe middle, I called housekeeping and they sent up 2 gentlemen to see the bed. Under further investigation we found both box springs were broken. They returned wih a new seally posterpeadic mattress and 2 new box springs. Totally amazing and we slept like wonderfully for the rest of our stay. The bailywick resteraunt has great food. The steak frise and the beef dip are outstanding. Reason for 4 out of 5 is the food court is in real need a dedicated cleaner. Tables are full of food wrppers and sticky spots, floor is sticky and littered. We will be staying at the Orleans on our next stay, its great . You see a lot of locals there on friday and saturdays witch speaks volumes. Thanks again for taking care of us.
Not off to a good start!

Our family is planning a Las Vegas Vacation in a of couple of weeks. We have stayed at The Orleans in the past and thought it would be fun to come back for another visit but now I am not so sure. I booked our rooms quite a while ago. I have emailed the property a couple times as I had a few specific questions and no response. They said a representative would respond to my message but I haven't heard a word back! It would seem like they don't want our business and we probably need to book something elsewhere which is disappointing to say the least.
