We stayed in many hotels in the last four weeks on our hike through Sweden and the small Herrgårdshotellet was definitely a highlight. It is newly opened, has a lot of charme and is decorated with great attention to detail. The truly wonderful hospitality of the host makes you feel right at home. Clean and spacious rooms and really good breakfast! A great place to rest and recharge!

For someone like me having traveled all over the world I can say that this place is a real recommendation. The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood in Laxa and is a real beauty. The hotel has been renovated completely and the people have focused on creating a warm interior that makes you feel like coming home. The owner and chef David is a warm and welcoming man that is on top of that a great Chef, cooking is his hobby and you can taste the fantastic ingredients in each of his creations. Fresh ingredients is a standard for David and his international background is bringing a wide variety in what he cooks. For people that like to do some biking or enjoy nature, this place has everything you need in walking distance. For people that like to rest in a peaceful area and enjoy fantastic food this is the place to be. Beside the food the rooms are having plenty of space with all you need.

Rummet var stort, fräscht och vackert inrett. Vi kanske var dagens sista gäster, värden satt och väntade på oss och vi blev välkomnade av både honom och hans lille son. Frukosten var en utmärkt, engelskinspirerad frukostbuffé. Inte jättelik men fullt tillräcklig. Lagom övervakad och betjänad, åter av den mycket trivsamme värden. Hoppas dom klarar sig igenom pandemitiderna och kan få mer gäster. Vi återkommer gärna om vi har vägarna förbi.

Ett varmt välkomnande till ett mycket trevligt hotell. Rummen rymliga och trevligt möblerade. Ren och fräscht överallt. Omgivningen lugn och trevlig. Parkering i direkt anslutning. Frukosten riklig och mycket god. Återkommer gärna.
