While traveling eastwards on I-40, we wanted to avoid big cities like Nashville that are having outbreaks of the delta variant. You get a lot of value for the price on this hotel. Clean, free WiFi; hot breakfast from 6-9am with sausage links/patties, eggs, biscuit and gravy, self-serve waffles and oatmeal; They also have apples, different fruit juices, cereal. Pet friendly. Outside pool. However, you have to take into consideration that it is just off the highway and you may hear the traffic from I-40 from your bedroom. Also, when you are coming south from the highway into the property, make sure you don’t turn right too early or you will end up at the Comfort Suites next door. Take the next right turn at the Travel Inn entrance. The gym only has one elliptical and treadmill with some dumbbells and some kind of nautical machine for pulling weights

The staff were friendly and the place was very clean! The price was reasonable as well. It doesn't charge for pets. I will be booking at LaQuinta Inns when possible. Very good experience here. Oh, and the breakfast was very good with many options.

Baker's school does a wonderful review prep course and gets the students through their license exams. My son went there and stayed at La Quinta. He was in a suite and was there for an extended time but was treated well by La Quinta. Very affordable.

For what we paid for this room I expected a nicer place. There are several hotels right together I mean a stones throw away and some are very sketchy looking. We stayed the week before in Cookeville which is a 30 min drive farther away but the staff was much more friendly and the place seemed cleaner. And it was $80 cheaper. Next time I will check prices at both before I book. Owner one bonus was they had hot breakfast and not the grab and go.

This was a very nice hotel and staff was super nice and made us feel welcomed.The breakfast was just a grab bag because of covid but overall was a great experience for all three of us. We will be back for sure.
