More about the hotel
Great Customer Service
Stayed in the hotel for the 14 days of quarantine, isolated for 10 days, and from Mark the manager, to Monica member of staff, the customer service was thoughtful, kind, and efficient. Going back for sure!
Nightmare
A picture is worth a thousand words and I added few. I don’t really care is it low cost or exclusive hotel but clean it has to be if it has licence to provide accommodation to other people specialy in 2020 with this pandemic. In every step you have visible decades of accumulated dirt.
You get what you pay for.
Visiting family in Leeds and this was the cheapest accommodation for 1 Saturday night. Our room was on the top floor (harwood?), we liked the decor and the ensuite was acceptable, mattress wasnt great but good enough for 1 night. Despite turning off the radiator, our room was very warm which meant we had the window open so unfortunately due to drunk muppets shouting every hour or so on the street below and cool guys with loud cars doing fast and furious impressions we didnt sleep very well. The staff seemed friendly and there was ample parking. I'd probably not stay here again. Sorry.
Great Location, Good Value
Stayed at the hotel to attend a rugby match at the nearby stadium. Location is superb and plenty of parking is available. The welcome at the hotel was great and we were allowed to put our bags into the room despite arriving too early for check in. Our room was fair value for the price paid, we were downstairs and it only had a small window so did feel a little claustrophobic. Breakfast was available for £5 if booked on arrival, we didn’t have this so cannot comment. We took the chance to go into Leeds on the bus which can be caught across the road and costs £4.70 return and takes around 30 minutes. Headingley centre is a short walk away with lots of bars, shops and takeaways.
Weekend Visit
I use this hotel on a regular basis for when I travel down from Newcastle to attend the rugby games at nearby Headingley Stadium and also to see friends in the area. What an absolutely fantastic place it is. Comfy rooms, clean, tidy, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely amazing rates. Superb location with local public transport to Leeds City Centre and beyond just minutes away. Without a shadow of a doubt I would and will reccomend this hotel to anybody looking to stay in Headingley. I will never ever stay anywhere else in Headingley other than here. Nothing is of any bother to the staff who will do what they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I cant wait to book my next stay here and already I'm looking forward to it, the only disappointing thing about staying here is having to leave but I will always return. The local amenities are outstanding also with a fantastic range of shops approximately 5 minutes walk away with a great range of local pubs only 2 minutes walk away. Once again a truly fantastic hotel perfectly situated. Also fantastic for familys as well.
