Outstanding Hotel
This property is very convenient to all the local shopping and restaurants in Lee's summit. The food was delicious and the rooms clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone that's travelling to the Kansas City area. We'll worth the visit!!
A Good Choice in Lee's Summit
I spent one night here while in Missouri for recreation. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and the breakfast tasty. Using the Hilton app, I could check in without going to the lobby. I happened to stay during a youth sports event so the hotel was overrun with teen and tween boys. This was a good test of the soundproofing of the room. Result: not too soundproof. I could hear the guys next door as well as the footsteps running up and down the hall. Luckily, I could put on the fan to block some noise. The staff seemed to handle the commotion with good cheer. The breakfast was excellent considering COVID precautions. Hot food was available; you had to tell the staff person what you wanted and she dished it out for you. A nice change of pace from the grab and go bags with a yogurt and granola bar. For being a Diamond member, I got a package of Swedish Fish. This was an unexpected treat.
Clean and quiet!
I am traveling cross country and needed a place to work for a day. I chose this location because it was both convenient and far enough from the highway to have less noise. I also chose it because there are great sidewalks that go for a couple of miles near the property - after 10 hours in a car, a nice walk was just what I needed. The rooms were well priced and had plenty of room to work. Everyone is wearing masks, so perhaps the previous guest's comments has an impact. Even the gentlemen cleaning the parking lot is wearing a mask.
Clean, updated and convenient Hampton Inn
This was a good, smaller Hampton Inn and I've stayed in dozens over the years. From the outside it looks like a bit of an older Hampton but it was clear they've done a good job keeping it up and appeared to have been updated/remodeled. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. I didn't exercise but the fitness room looked pretty nice. Here are my observations and opinions for those concerned about COVID. Our room had a "seal" they taped on our hotel door after it's been cleaned by house keeping. The way it was explained to me, it is supposed to indicate no one else has entered the room once housekeeping finished. All staff were wearing masks that I saw. A friendly front desk clerk greeted us at check in wearing a mask. Same thing at breakfast. They recently opened up the breakfast options a bit more so it is not as locked down as it was when I traveled in July and August 2020. Either you can serve yourself (they provide disposable gloves) or the breakfast attendant can serve you. I saw several options but not everything you might have seen pre-COVID -- such as waffle maker and cereal -- is available including a few hot options. In my personal opinion, the only thing I could see that might concern those very anxious about COVID is to avoid the morning breakfast rush. The room where they serve and the seating area are pretty small. Smaller than a lot of Hamptons I have been to. Social distancing could be a bit challenging at busy times. I felt safe and the breakfast attendant was working hard, cleaning, explaining the process to people etc. I was pleasantly surprised they'd found some middle ground normalcy to the old way of doing a Hampton Inn breakfast. There are some dining options nearby. There's a Culver's a hundred yards away and a Mexican restaurants close by. Probably others I didn't see. Overall, this was a great stay at Hampton.
Clean and Updated Hotel
Room was updated and clean. Beds were comfortable. The AC fan could be set to run all the time which was great for noise. They did a sack breakfast with a muffin, fruit, donuts, and a bottle of water. Employees and most guests were wearing masks but it was a requirement in the county. One compliant - I love having the digital key on my iPhone but they were having issues with the digital key working on the side doors so I ended up having to get a key anyway. Would stay here again in a second!
