We stayed two nights at this hotel. First of all, the arrival. There is no bell boy or captain to help with guest arrivals (which is common for 4-5 star hotels). We came by car and there was no way to park the car so we sort of parked temporarily at a wrong place just to remove our luggage, to head into the lobby. Once at the lobby it was not clear which counter is for check-in and/or check-out. Eventually we were served and mentioned about where we could park the car. We we offered a garage location a few hundred meters away at a cost of 11 euros per day. We agreed. So has to go park the car first and then return to check-in… Eventually checked in we were allocated a room with Seaview and Balcony on the 1st floor. Obviously the Seaview was magnificent and I believe that is the main key for the whole hotel. The room was a bit on the small size but with the balcony it did not bother us that much. The facilities in the room were top notch and high quality. Bear in mind that there is a small boulevard between the hotel and the beach/sea so expect some rad noise but it was not an issue for us. We decided to have breakfast in the room the next morning. We ordered our choices online. The next day on receiving the breakfast some items were missing and warm food if ordered can get cold pretty quickly, so take care of that. We noticed one complimentary bottle of water. This should be two as we were two guests and did receive a set of fresh bottles of water the next day (really disappointing). Small details will make all the difference. We decided to buy our own water at a nearby Carrefour Market (it’s located 300m down the road). The Spa and restaurant I cannot comment as we did not use those facilities. Nevertheless there is an indoor swimming pool very close to the lobby and area for buffet breakfast etc. The main issue is the smell of Chorine that dominates the area. Perhaps the swimming pool can be treated with saline solutions instead. Access to the 1st and higher floors is with an elevator or staircase. Be aware coming down the stairs case as the last step is about a meter away from the staircase decent, so this could be a tripping hazard. I suggest the hotel to put some warning sign. On checking out we had to do the reverse with the car. Fetch the car, park is wrongly in front of the hotel. No bell boy to bell with luggage, and a confusion on checking out as we were requested to pay for the parking by cash!? Eventually a credit card was accepted… This has been a strange request. Overall we had a pleasant stay on this cosy hotel where a room with Seaview is a must! Otherwise there is no point. I believe the staff can be more friendly. Not only at checkin and checkout but in general. As for the value for money, 200 euros for a room with Seaview outside season without breakfast is steep. Was expecting more from our stay for that kind of money. Therefore I give it a 3 out 5 rating. I live in the Far East and a lot can be learned from how 4-5 star hotels over-there handle their guests. I hope this review helps others. Best regards.
Lovely hotel ... Very relaxing

We booked three nights at the hotel to celebrate our thirtieth wedding anniversary . Check in was very efficient ,.. and the room with a sea view and balcony was spacious and relaxing . Toilet is separate from bathroom which was nice . Coffee and tea in the room and mini bar . Lovely big comfortable bed . Very efficient air conditioning . Parking is an issue .. although we always managed to find somewhere within a couple of hundred yards . . The traffic system on the sea front is a nightmare ! The swimming pool is very nice and a few steps from the lift .... Room servicing was excellent ... always spotlessly clean . On our anniversary we ate in the hotel restaurant . The food was superb . Like all hotel breakfasts , only good value if you eat a lot . My only complaint is that when we arrived , there was a nice hand written note from the management congratulating us on our wedding anniversary . That was it ! Would it of hurt to include a small bunch of flowers ? ,... a box of chocolates ? .... a basket of fruit ? I've stayed in basic hotels in the UK that have made an effort ... let alone a luxury , high standard hotel such as the Atlantic .

Lovely and welcoming staff at reception, the parking is a little bit tricky, but there is some free parking in the streets nearby. The swimming pool has some restrictions in terms of opening time and is located next to the breakfast room and bar. The room in itself is fine and well cleaned. The ocean view is the main positive point. The heavy room keys are from the past and are supposed to be given when you go out I suppose. Wifi was not that reliable in the room. The double bed was twin beds reunited in fact. The restaurant was quite strict on the timing because of Covid which I completely understand. The dishes were well presented and the portions quite big. There are some other restaurants not too far away by foot because there are no lunch possibility in the hotel. Overall it’s a little bit pricey for the whole experience but the view is worth it !!
A GOOD PLACE TO STAY

The hotel is situated just across the quiet road from the long beaches and the long promenade - le Remblai in a quiet area. Only a few km from the port de plaisance or town on foot. There is a regular bus service to the town centre for those who don't wish to walk. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff are welcoming and very efficient. We chose a superior room - situated on the 6th floor which you have to acces by stairs from the 5th floor (indicated on their site). We had a small terrace with a magnificent view. The room, although not as big as expected, was very functional with a reasonably comfortable bed (a bar in the middle which could be uncomfortable at times). The bed linen was of good quality. A downside of our room is that there was a really high step up/down to get onto/out of the terrace which has no sunshades and only room for two low lounger chairs and a low table. Wifi access was free and very functional for normal surfing and the television was of a decent size. There is a good choice for the buffet breakfast, which is served around the interior pool, but if you don't want the smell of chlorine, you can carry your breakfast to the Sloop restaurant. Unfortunately, the bacon and scrambled eggs were not hot – typical of buffet breakfasts! Parking is a real problem. We opted to pay 11 Euros extra for private parking which is 200m from the hotel and only holds 4 cars - if that! Parking in the area of the hotel is very difficult to find, even out of season. One thing that struck me as strange is that I was requested to pay the private parking fee in cash which I refused. The Sloop restaurant is excellent. I cannot comment on the spa since I didn't use it since you have to pass through the reception and bar in your bathrobe which is not discrete and in addition, despite paying for a superior room, access to the spa is an additional expense which, in my opinion is not worth the money for 1.30h access at 18 Euros per person. All in all, I consider this hotel a good place to stay compared to other 4-star hotels in the area in view of its relatively easy access to the town centre. Re the advice on choosing your room, if you opt for a standard double sea-view room you can be placed on either on the 1st or 5th floor (the latter the best option but you cannot choose in advance). The standard sea-view rooms have a small balcony. Whereas, with the superior rooms, you are guaranteed a fabulous view. In my opinion, its worth opting for a superior room.

This Hotel is located in a beautiful area, on the sea. We enjoyed our stay, however the found the restaurant is below standards we expected. The food is not great. I would stay here again for the very accomodating staff, great massage and beautiful views with the sea view from the room we booked but would not eat in the restaurant for dinner again.
