Great Experience
Great experience, nice and clean, every visit. The Queen size suite are the best. I like the fact you can cook in the room and how spacious it is. My falimy and I enjoy staying at CandleWood Suites!!!
Always a great stay with IHG properties
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Candlewood Suites in Lexington KY. General manager Dipak Patel was most welcoming and available for any questions we had. He was very attentive and helped with suggestions for meals and fun things to do while in Lexington.. he also provided guide books and maps of the area. .He and 2 other gentlemen Eric & Robby were always visible in the lobby. All of the front desk staff were so friendly. Nicole and Melinda were as sweet as they could be! What a great team! Awesome customer service! The housekeeping staff were top notch!! Always visible and wiping down surfaces. The hotel just smelled so clean! The hotel is in a convenient location just minutes from downtown. We definitely will stay with Candlewood Suites on our next trip. Everyone we came in contact with were wearing masks.
Dirty/Stained Sheets
Overall the facility was extremely clean however we’re very very dissatisfied with the stains and hair found on the bed especially since we had a late late check in and we had to remake and resheet both beds ourselves. This issue seems to be a common issue with IHG brands lately— its time to replace old linen with new.
Becoming my favorite chain
Once again we checked into a outstandingly clean and comfortable room. Very nice staff as always! Love that I get upgraded for being an IHG member. The $25 a night in extra fees for my very best friend could be more reasonable . I mean I understand a one time fee but for each additional night? He is such a little guy you would not even know he had been in the room, never leaves a mess. We hear other people’s kids all the time but you never hear a peep from him. You really aught to have a program for outstanding pups. I used to stay in Holiday Inn Express exclusively but they either stopped allowing dogs or charge way too much! This has forced me to chose Choice Hotels which are okay but very inconsistent in quality or for longer stays we checkin to AirB&Bs. Come on Holiday Inn you are losing business. I will always chose a Candlewood when the difference in price is not substantial. We are onto Nashville next and will unfortunately be staying at a Comfort Inn.
Best place to we ever stayed!
We chose Candlewood Suites because they allow pets and it’s plenty of room for our family. On this particular stay of 9 days, we arrived early and they welcomed us right in with an early check in. It felt like Eric, the Manager who checked us in was an old friend. The clerks Melinda and Nicole brought their children to play with our son because he got lonely and bored in the room. The housekeeper shared pictures of her family. This was the cleanest hotel and room we ever stayed in. Spotless! We can’t say enough about the staff, and their professionalism and friendliness. We are extremely happy that we decided not to go the airbnb route.
