Muy comodo
De lo mejor que he podido ver en Dandong. Las habitaciones son amplias y comidas. Desde el piso alto se puede ver la orilla de Corea del Norte. Desayuno correcto, y el personal se esfuerza por ayudar. Recomendable
Ubicación perfecta
Llegué a Dandong por la tarde noche, como antesala a mi viaje a DPRK, me quedé en este hotel , por la cercanía a la estación de trenes, está a tres minutos caminando desde el hotel y el aeropuerto está a 25 minutos en taxi . El hotel tiene excelentes habitaciones, tiene centros comerciales muy próximos, wifi rápido, al contrario de otros hoteles de cadenas internacionales que he estado en China,baños impecables, restaurante de muy buen nivel, una pequeña tienda donde comprar cosas básicas de aseo y algunos snacks,tiene lavandería con monedas y desayuno chino y occidental incluido ,el personal habla inglés . Volvería a quedarme en el en otra oportunidad.
Overrated, but Acceptable
Being the one and only international chain hotel in Dandong, I had some expectations when I arrived. To be fair, the hotel met most of them. The location was really unbeatable, pretty much just across the street from the train station and easily walkable to downtown core and Yalu River. My corner room was tastefully designed, looked brand new and had an awesome view, I was able to see very far into North Korea which I did not expect at all. Although, I have to say that my check-in and departure experience were less than ideal. I found the staff somewhat cold and judgemental, but that's strictly my personal opinion. My room was a corner room and the room rate was quite high, yet I did find the room small. I also encountered some issues with my A/C unit - in fact I had this issue with many other hotels in China - the A/C struggled a great deal when trying to bring the temperature down, and humidity was uncomfortably high. That said, I liked my stay in general. By the look of it I still don't have many options in Dandong when it comes to mid-to-high-scale hotels, so the HGI will do for now, but I look forward to trying something else when they become available.
Fair Enough
I certainly would not argue with the value proposition. It's not my dream come true, but certainly a solid choice for a stay. Breakfast buffet each morning and a seafood buffet on Monday nights keep it easy and convenient.
Convenient location, great view and friendly service
Stayed for one night. Hotel conveniently located 5 min walk from train station. 10 min walk to the Yalu River and broken bridge. Plenty of places to eat all around. Easy to get taxi to further away attractions. Friendly and professional service. Flexible. Room is very good. We booked one with a river view and it was good. Can see the meandering Yalu River, the broken bridge and the new bridge, and of course North Korea. Room is not big but well designed. We booked a double bed but it could fit three if you don't mind sleeping on the sofa (comfy enough). Didn't get the breakfast so cannot comment. Overall, considering the location, quality of room and view and service, I think it is good value for money.
