Not sure what to expect....
This was my first hotel stay in 6 months due to Covid. I travel frequently for work and loyal to Hilton/Hampton in particular. First and foremost, the staff was excellent during my 3 days here! Yes, little breakfast options, no workout facilities but with our current environment, I understand. Where it fell short was the dirty towel left hanging in the bathroom, TV didn’t work and had trouble with the digital key. The towel gave the impression the room was not thoroughly cleaned as expected. Not the best experience on my first stay.
Good Hotel Overall
We were in town for a wedding. I live about an hour away from this location, but was very familiar with the area as I used to live nearby. We had a King Suite which was a very nice, spacious, and clean room overall. The staff were FANTASTIC and super friendly. Only complaints were that the bed was a little hard, there appeared to be a spilled coffee stain in the carpet by the desk, and some lights were burnt out making the room a little dim. Room #402.
Staying During Covid
Many things have changed and it just makes for a impersonal stay. Although I did like the electronic key on my phone, the whole no exercise room, no pool and nothing of real substance for breakfast. This hotel needs a little TLC, one elevator was broken, fridge in room did not work and carpet was a little suspect. We brought our own Lysol to be safe. The hotel sits back in a quiet location, unless your in a backside room on a Tuesday when the bins are emptied at 5.45am. That was fun. Pictures of room and breakfast. Interesting fact spoons are wrapped in plastic but plastic knifes are not....
Great stay at Hampton Inn Lino Lakes
The experience was great from even before checking in. I used the Hilton app to pick my room, check in and retrieve my key using wireless on American Airlines prior to landing at MSP. During the stay I needed some help with my television and the staff immediately resolved it. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the MSP northern suburbs
House keepers needed
The house keeping was the low point nice rooms great service dirty room breakfast was pretty good if your ok with pork most days house keeping will turn the heater on on there own so be ready to cool the room down once you arrive
