Convenient for the airport

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to San Francisco. It was a 10 min cab ride from Lisbon Airport. Check-in was fast and efficient and the Bell Boy kindly took our numerous and heavy bags to our room. We were allocated room 327 on the third floor. The room was fine. A huge, comfy super king bed. We slept well. There was no internal or external noise. Huge TV with lots of local and international channels including BBC and Sky News. Fridge with free water. Digital safe. Plenty of storage. Strangely though, no bed side cabinets, so we had to put stuff on the floor. The bathroom was ok. Large bath with jungle shower and a hand held shower too. Hairdryer. We were tired, so did not try the restaurant but had room service. It was fine. As we had an early flight the next day, we did not have breakfast at the hotel. Overall - an ok business type hotel a short drive from the airport.
Not a 5 start hotel or 5 star service

This hotel should not even be allowed to get a 5 star category. The service was worst ever and not at all to the standards. A 5 star hotel that did not have a kettle in the room. we stayed there for 4 nights, we asked for a kettle on day 1 and got it on day 4 and that too was not a clean one. The water kept getting dirty and murky in it. We asked for Iron, never got it. We then stopped asking for anything. Room service was also very slow. WE would never recommend this hotel, specially not for a 5 star category, a 2 star plus .. May be. I would ask for a refund.
Very Nice to

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend as we were taking part in the Lisbon Marathon. The hotel isn't far from the main city and about 15.minutea from the airport. The hotel is very nice. We had a twin room, it was ok, beds were comfortable electric blinds and room service was good. Large bathroom the funniest bit was when you're in bed you can see through a glass panel into the shower/bath but don't worry there is an elevtric blind you can move up and down to. Cover your modesty. It was a but like Naked Attraction haha 😂 overall great stay, we did make use of the spa although the pool wasn't open. We had a couples massage session with jacuzzi which want badly priced for 2 included champagne, jacuzzi then a massage steam and sauna. There were local restaurants nearby and shops. Lovely cafe on the corner opposite the main entrance where we went for breakfast which was really good value. Overall a great hotel and just what we needed. 👍

5 stars hotel very well studied from top to bottom, modern room with modern furniture and stylish glass bathroom, amazing pool and spa, breakfast was very tasty, close to everywhere and definitely I will repeat my stay again, my review is based on my stay August 2011.
DEFINITELY NOT 5 STAR
Reviewed 4 november, 2019
Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a group on an organized tour of Portugal. Having a fancy, large reception area, pool and a spa does not make a hotel a five star establishment in the guests eye. What does make a 5 star hotel is a room with sufficient light(s) to be able to see what you are doing and not need to use the torch on your mobile phone or to have to move the free standing lamp around the room to shed a little light. The photos on the site do not reflect the amount of darkness in the room. The bathroom had undergone some sort of bad refit - there were large corners where something had previously been which was now empty space and you could still see on the walls where something was missing. The bath which contained the shower - no glass door or anything else - flooded the bathroom floor however careful you tried to be. Towels were paper thin and not very new looking however clean they hopefully were. The group was on a half-board basis - breakfast was a disaster - all the international groups were put upstairs in a large hall, had to wait ages to be seated, they had to open up an adjoining hall in the end just to seat everyone. No food and not replenished at the breakfast buffet. Very low quality food and choice and had to walk maybe 100m just to reach the buffet from where you were seated. No trays and small plates - not an easy journey back to your seat. Location is not close to the centre so if you want to be within even a relatively easy walking distance of the city centre this would not be suitable. I realize that on an organized tour you cannot pick and choose your hotels and I don't normally expect too much of their choices, however this was unfortunately a big disappointment.
