Good location, nice rooms and friendly staff
We particularly liked the location of this place in the Bairro Alto neighborhood. Great restaurants could be reached with a short walk. The rooms are lovely with a fantastic view. The staff was friendly and helpful and managed the difficult circumstances due to Covid-19 very well. We appreciated the fresh breakfasts. We will certainly go back to this place. It will be interesting to see how the expansion will turn out. During our stay there was a construction site in front of the room which is linked to the hotel.
Feeling at home with a view
We stayed 5 nights @ Casa das Jamelas and took 3 rooms. Deluxe double was luxury view with a balcony from where you can sit and admire the view all day long (#7). Our kids took small double, and the one at the 3rd floor is the best (#12), Rooms on the 1st floor dont have the same view. Location is quiet and really in the heart of Barrio Alto, great for restaurants and bars. Bkfast was served in the big living room and was generously prepared even with covid restrictions. The team is competent and very nice, always at your service. Overall perfect experience
Nice place
We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Lisbon. A Casa is located in quieter part of Barrio Alto but it is within close,walking distance to the city centre. There are plenty of places to eat and drink around the hotel. Also the neighbour feels very safe. You cannot hear any noise from outside during the night. Breakfast is really good and staff helpful without being intrusive. A hotel is spotless clean with comfortable bed, which is welcome after long walks. The only thing to bear in mind is that the house is old with wooden flooring so you can basically can hear every step and conversation. If you are a heavy sleeper, I highly recommend this place. If not, stay somewhere else.
Boutique Hotel at its Best!
We had a great stay at this place! The place itself is fancy but at the same time very welcoming and comfy. The staff is just lovely and will help you with anything! The room we stayed in was quite small but lovely designed and comfy though. The area around is just perfect to explore Bairro Alto and the center of Lisboa. Absolutely recommended ! p.s. if you plan to visit a Fado place nearby, try Tasca da tia Macheta! It's super small but lovely and you gonne have an unforgetable Fado night!
Best Bed and Breakfast in the city
I loved it here, I was traveling around Portugal and I needed some where for one night in the city close to everything, and this little gem ticked all the boxes, and after I finished my travels I returned for one night as liked it so much. It’s tastefully designed, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast is great with lots to choose from, highly recommend.
