Nice place in a good location, needs TLC

The Lisboa suites is a nice aparthotel in central Lisbon, it's within short walking distance of the metro, main shopping areas and some restaurants. If you are looking to cook yourself then be wary, the kitchenet does not have an oven, our freezer door was broken and the temperature of the fridge dropped and froze our food. This was fixed when we asked reception but we still lost money as some of our food was destroyed by it, eggs, milk, sauces etc. Pots, plates and cutlery were provided though. There were some scuffs on the walls, cracked tiles and the taps and toilet role holders were not in good condition. The pool was filthy, it had bits floating in it, the filters were clearly not up high enough and I looked at the PH readings in the hall and they are out of range for EU safety standards every second time they are checked, which means the pool is not checked often enough and the chlorine is not topped up enough, I can say that from professional experience. I was afraid to swim in it anyway. The rooms are not sound proofed or anything so it can be loud, it actually sounded like construction was going on in the room above us. We were upgraded to a nice 2 bedroom apartment, the extra space was excellent as my partner was studying sometimes. The rooms were clean in general with plenty of towels provided, the King bed was very comfortable and the Aircon worked well. The hotel had it's downsides of course but overall I am sure it is a great place to stay in season. Our stay personally could have been better though. We got it for a good price and the room upgrade helped but from my experience unless you have kids or are in group, it is really not worth the extra cost over the likes of an Eden or Staycity aparthotel if you can get a booking. A little TLC and that would easily change as the hotels has the potential to be excellent and I sure for some people it was in past but again it needs some fixing up. Extra info: TV's are a good size with a few English channels, Fox, Hollywood, Blaze, Discovery etc WiFi was good enough for streaming and web calls. No casting on the TV but you could easily bring your own firestick or Chromecast as the HDMI ports are open and WiFi is open for connection.

Good points Location, spotlessly clean, spacious, reasonably priced Not so good points Breakfast was awful however the young lady who served us was the most friendly person we encountered during our stay, the staff on reception barely acknowledge you. Pool area is a decent size but is a bit run down looking and the sunbeds are really uncomfortable.
What a find!

If you want a city break with a pool then this is the place for you! The staff were all so friendly and helpful and even in these strange times breakfast felt almost normal. Having the apartment really helped as it gave us more space. The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and close to bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect accommodation for a family. Our one bedroom apartment is very sizeable. It's wonderful to have a large separate bedroom and a large living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchenette is fully equipped. We have found it to be spotlessly clean. Very fresh linen, towels etc. Breakfast in the little eating area is perfect to set you up for a day of adventures. Lots of tasty pastries, cereals, fruit etc. Located five minutes walk from the Metro and literally across the road from McDonald's! A perfect base to explore Lisbon and very reasonable rates. Would definitely stay again. Lisbon is a beautiful city and we have been blessed with gorgeous sunshine!

Located at the edge of the Lisbon city center, between two metro stations (Marques de Pombal and Rato). Perfect for a family. Pingo Doce supermarket at 10 min walk (at Calçada Bento da Rocha Cabral 16).
