Great hotel and staff !
We stayed here for two nights after travelling from Albufeira as our passports where stolen and we needed to go to the Irish embassy..when we arrived the staff couldn’t of been anymore helpful taking bags ,understanding we didn’t have passports for check in etc.they made a long day of travelling and stressing so much easier for us. They even offered us to stay in our room later free of charge because are flights were late at night .Nothing was to much for them. Breakfast was gorgeous so much choice all freshly made .staff constantly there for any of your needs. Hotel is very central in Lisbon and ubers are great If u need them for airport or anything ..
Latinas at Lisboa 2019
A great hotel. Very attentive personnel. Very comfortable room for 3 people. Very assertive staff. Love it!! I am part of a group named "Las Kakatuas". We got the name by my BFF Ex-Husband when he experienced eight friends talking at the same time. I supposed he was jealous because he has no friends to talk to. We are a group from school, Class 88, and still we are friends. 35 years later we decide we want to see the world together. The highlight of 2019 was our trip to Lisboa as we say it in Spanish with my sister and one of the Kakatuas, my BFF. We really wanted to visit a new place so we choose Portugal, with a brief stop in Paris. Our hotel in Lisbon was located in a very strategic place nearby 2 train stations, a few steps from the main avenue, a few more steps from the excursion stops. We needed a room for 3 persons and for my surprise it has 2 separate rooms. We were at a very good location but not in the middle of action. The staff received us with a complimentary basket of fruits and well known Porto. We love the city and we sure will come back again.
Great staff
The room was small, clean, priced right with really good location. Continental breakfast was fresh and quite tasty. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to fellow travelers. Although the room was small, there was great light, stocked mini bar and nice clean bathroom with wonderful hot water and fluffy towels.
Some of the best staff anywhere
If it were not for the staff here I would not recommend this hotel. However, they are heads and shoulders above most we have encountered. Friendly, polite, bend over backwards helpful. The other redeeming aspects of this hotel are the location (although on a return trip I would be closer to the river) and the honor bar near the lobby, very convenient. Breakfast was OK, nothing special but good enough to get you going in the morning. Neighborhood was OK, very good restaurant right across the street (Ola Lisbon) with a nice little cafe next to it. Rooms are very tired and in need of a complete overhaul. Beds are comfy, rooms are large.
Good hotel but
The hotel is in a central location walk distance to the touristic spots. There is a metro station and a park nearby. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. One of the drawbacks was the sound insulation (or no insulation). We had annoying amount of noise from the room next door and also from outside. The internet connection was also very bad at the fifth floor. The breakfast was satisfactory and served well. You have to keep in mind that you pay for city tax for each night you stay in Lisbon.
