Arrived at the hotel after a six hour journey from West Wales, asked for some advice on where I could park and was told “there’s no parking” and handed a piece of paper with limited information (all for 2 hour max parking areas). Parking, of course comes under the drivers responsibility, yet as a paying guest you would expect some help or a friendly attitude at least from the hotel reception. We were also told to leave a £200 deposit which we have not received back despite the fact we most certainly did not breach any issues that were listed as being causes for not having our deposit back. I find it hard to comprehend how this hotel functions with the extremely poor customer service and the scam they run for deposits.

I went to this hotel to spend time with my wife during the weekend. The hotel has charged me for unauthorised smoking. I myself and my wife do not smoke. It is unfair as the hotel is not supplying evidence for smoking cigarettes and cannabis which they have accused me of. They have debited my account £200 after I had made a review on booking.com about them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, they will charge you for smoking even though you haven't. When asked for evidence they will dispute it. The hotel manager is unprofessional and rude. If you ring them they will keep saying email the manager instead...

Could not stay due to Covid restrictions, cancelled the booking and have been chasing for a refund for weeks with no reply. Very poor service. They should provide a refund in these circumstances. Bunch of crooks, avoid at all costs.

The receptionist/manager is the rudest hospitality person I’d ever met, no customer service. The room was freezing, the flush didn’t work. When I contacted the email no response, I called mobile number no answer,. When he finally came to the room, he was shouting that it isn’t cold and there’s no heater, every time I tried to talk he spoke over me, he said there was nothing wrong with the toilet when clearly it doesn’t flush. My boyfriend told him calmly not to speak to me like that and he stormed out the. When we followed to ask if he’s changing the rooms he said the reception is closed, when he is literally right there in the same building. He told us to shut up and go back in the room. This isn’t how staff should behave. I’m very Disappointed. You should not stay at this location if you want to be treated like a human being.

The apartment was small but had everything we needed it was generally clean but let down by dust buildup between the bed and the bedside table which had clearly built up over time, unforgivable as the beds are made regularly so should have been spotted, however the rest of the apartment including the bathroom was clean. There is a door stop which has been placed at the foot of the bed nearest the bathroom (to stop the bathroom door hitting the bed I assume) this is a trip hazard and we all tripped over it as you have no choice but to walk over the area to get out of the room or to the only Mirror in the main room this and the dust is the reason they are rated 3 instead of 4. The staff were friendly and helpful it’s a good place to stay for a short break to use as a base.
