DANGEROUS DODGY PLACE

· I stayed here with 4 of my female friends, we were feeling very unsafe due to the area and also the workers in the hotel. Its absolutely disgusting and they were creepy. We checked in and they made us feel uncomfortable, they were looking at us up and down, and acting pervy. we got ready in our room and ready to leave and one of the receptionist told us to leave the key before we go just incase we lose the key???? I refused and kept the key with me and they laughed. We didnt feel comfortable to go back and rest there so we booked a travelodge in central london and paid the extra money, we went back to this disgusting hotel and picked up our belongings there was no professional checkout we just left our keys on the table and went and the receptionist just laughed. The hotel was dirty and it is a shared bathroom in the reception which was weird as they kept staring at us walking past to go toilet, we didn't stay the night at all as it was unsafe to do so. Stay away from this place . The location was also poor to go to Central London
One star because zero wasn’t an option available.

I had the misfortune of having to book a room here. There was a boxing match in London and hotels were fully booked. I knew for £50 it would be an underwhelming experience but I wasn’t prepared for what I found. The room was a broom cupboard, the floor was dirty, the room was dusty, the fridge was mouldy and smelly, fan didn’t work the remote control to the TV was sticky and dirty. Most people nowadays have put in place enhanced cleaning due to Covid. This place didn’t even do basic cleaning. The staff shouted to each other rather than spoke and because the room walls are basically plywood, I had no peace. Coupled with the broken fan, I didn’t sleep a wink. £50 wasted.
Clean rooms which was unexpected

I had a friend tell me that the rooms would not be clean right after I already booked a room here (based on his experience) but thankfully, surprised to say that the rooms were in mint condition. Will likely stay here again if I come back
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

Absolutely disgusting, when we arrived it was late and everywhere seemed low lighting, a few girls hanging around didn't look very good for accommodation purposes, but maybe they where there for other purposes, I have never ever stayed in such a filthy place in all my life, we booked somewhere else early morning the following day, we couldnt get out quick enough.
Very good value for money

I have stayed at this economy hotel twice, so far, MAY & OCT 2019 and booked again for DEC2019. Why? SGL room are small but ensuite, cleaned every two days when sheets and towels are changed. Hot pressurized water, cable TV, and ok breakfast, sausage eggs, baked beans with toast and hot drink. Every TUESDAY-THURS-SAT you have a lot of stalls selling new discontinued brands at cheap prices. Lots of coffee & restaurants & pubs all around. Bus stop 4 min. walk into central London or metro 10 min walk. Staff are friendly. The area is full of far east nationalities. TESCO, POUNDLAND etc. a few feet away. Dont expect 3-4-5 star hotel service. Its basic and cheap for London. Yes there is a school close by which depending which room you get could be an alarm clock to wake you up at 0730. It has central heating but no A/C. For those wanting to spend time in the hotel, its not for you, but a place to sleep, have a shower and a clean room, great vlaue for money. Its about £40 p.n. for sgl room.
