All you can need in the way of accommodations. Small but clean rooms with comfortable and warm beds. And the included breakfast was a pleasant surprise, much more on offer than I would expect. Great selection of fruit, yogurt to eggs and bacon. Served in a large cafeteria type setting but clean and bright.

Good location. Safe location nice room with added bonus of fan in room toilets and showers very clean excellent breakfast fills you up for the day local shops near by nice pubs in area used coin laundry saddler wells opposite 38 bus takes 10 minutes to West end

They say you get what you pay for and I suppose we should have taken that into account when booking this room. Decor far from great and room far from clean we would not stay here again. On the plus side the breakfast was more than adequate.

This was my fifth stay at Rosebery Hall since 2010. Not much has changed and it is still a very good place to stay in Central London. Buses stop just down the street ..numbers 38 and 19 and they go to Victoria and Battersea through the theatre district, St James Park, Hyde Park Corner and Chinatown. Angel Tube Station is about a half mile up the hill and from there you can catch the #205 bus which is great for crosstown travel to King's Cross, St Pancras, and Paddington. My room was similar to those I have had in the past. Single bed, desk, closet, night stand and sink. I shared a toilet and shower room with one other room. Improvements over the 8 year period include availability of WiFi in the room ..free and easy to connect...password is given at desk when you check in. Check in time is 3:00PM and there is a luggage storage area available if you arrive early...likewise check out is at 10:00 and the same applies for storage. Some of the rooms have been refurbished. Have not seen what they are like. Think most of the communal showers have been updated and I noticed in Myddleton Wing..the new elevator was installed in 2015. There is a full kitchen on each floor ...fully equipped with microwave, Fridge, stove, freezer..some pots and dishes. I have never had personal food touched when stored in the fridge. There are plenty of food stores nearby and it is much cheaper to eat in than eat out. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Thank you for that as I found London had lost much of its civility. Too many people in too little space.... Rosebery though is a quiet Oasis in the mad roar of the big city. Very quiet at night except for the noise of the helicopters overhead once it got dark..they were not there the last time I visited ..must be security. Breakfast is plentiful and once the staff got to know you they never asked for our identity cards...I was there for 2.5 weeks. Would stay there again if I decide to return to London...

Stayed for one night mid week in September. Halls of Residence with basic student rooms and shared bathrooms. Comfortable bed, clean and quiet. A massive hot and cold breakfast is provided and included in the price. The hostel is located near Saddler Wells on a main bus route less than 2 km from the West End and at £37.50 is outstanding value
