Good location, okay value
Good location if you have meetings in and around Earls Court or Kensington. Some of the rooms are dated, so do ask for the most up to date rooms! Never had any problems and have stayed here a lot over the past few years. No thrills hotel.
Trip to London
We stayed here for two nights and it was a lovely place. The staff where polite and respectful, and they tided our room when we didn’t expect it. The hotel was clean and well presented. I would stay here again on my next trip to London.
over-priced, smelly room
I paid 90 pounds a night for a single room (no breakfast). (1) room: poor lighting and has strong smell of mold. The carpet is stained and dirty. (2) toilet: tiny, no shelf to place towel, shampoo, shower gel. Shower head is fixed high on the wall and cannot be adjusted to fit your height. Shower tub is very small. The flush does not function well. (3) WiFi: lost signal from time to time at night. (4) Heating: is unstable. I asked for a portable heater but was not provided one. I then asked for a blanket and was given a small thin sheet. I had to wear a sweater to sleep. I only stayed for one night and moved out the next morning to a much better 3-star hotel (75 pounds a night with breakfast, bigger room, clean and with good portable heater, 5 mins walk to Earls Court underground station).
Great price for a small distance
The guest hotel is very cosy. Nearby (less than 5 minutes) you have a metro station where you have 3 different connections (Piccadilly, District and Circle Line). We chose this because we wanted a basic room without breakfast, so we could have something to eat in the centre. The room is very cosy and well furnished. They always offer extra pillows and blankets, but the extra blankets are superfluous as it can be hot in the room. The bathroom is small, but useful and clean. You have a small sink (this is the only disadvantage of the bathroom). The service is very friendly and helpful. They have a good knowledge of the city and offer you a lot of information. In the region you have several supermarkets and restaurants.
