More about the hotel
Really not a good place to stay
Even in London I'd have expected more for the £144 I paid for one night. The location is ideal for Paddington Station and there was hot water - those are the good bits. The bathroom smelled and the fan was covered in fluff/mould. The room had three beds in it and none of them had mattress covers on them and the material bases were grubby. One bed obstructed the bathroom door. The paint on the woodwork was chipped and in need of repair and wasn't even the same colour. The picture on the wall had broken glass. There was a narrow stair to access the rooms and on two flights there were stacks of sheets and towels that must have been a fire hazard. There was no mention of breakfast but just wanted to leave asap anyway.
If I could rate 0 I would!
Visited this hotel for just one night well didn’t even stay, but went to stay was told we could check in at 1 got to the hotel and couldn’t even check in at 1 as check ins are at 2 but because the maid wasn’t even there we was told it could be any time after two even though we booked for 1 because we had a concert to be at for 1 (got there late) but when we asked if we could just leave our stuff in a dirty room for them to clean so we could just put our stuff down was told no but could leave it with them in the entrance (no thanks)! So when we then requested to speak to manger for a refund we was told we couldn’t have a refund and there was nothing they could do, after a brief 10 minutes of us telling them they finally rang a manger who spoke to my friend for a brief 2 minute conversation said he can send us a refund I’ve he authorised it with whoever we booked through and put the phone down once again we had no idea what was going on, then we was told the manager owned another hotel 3 minutes away (looked much nicer than this one) and when we got there we went straight to him (him looking about 25 with his feet up on the table) and once I started talking he went ‘oh yeah they one who wants a refund from the other yeah I’m on it’ then once again I explained we don’t live around here we have no where to stay, he ignored us and asked if there was a festival I then said yes but we will be late because of all this he didn’t care asked who we was seeing and once he was told he rudely asked if I had any spare tickets once I said now he then said well you can’t go so I can just have yours!! Still no refund and such a terrible run hotel will not be booking with either of them again!
Awfull hotel
This is the worst hotel where I stayed. The room is really dirty, bathroom with broken shower. The hotel pictures are not representative of the hotel at all. For breakfast only awfull snaks. I'd not reccomand the hotel to anyone.
DO NOT STAY HERE!
Booked for one night with my girlfriend, upon arriving at the door we kept an open mind making our way up the stairs which haven’t seen a hoover in a fair few months. We were hit immediately by a truly fragrant and delicious smell of what can only be described as sewage blended together with used baby nappies. The room was dilapidated at best, the wardrobe was propped up with folded card and had chewing gum or heaven knows what strewn across it. The small fridge welcomes you as you walk through the door by hitting you in the shins, obviously preparing you to trip over the wires that are powering it just after! The bed was stained and dirty, including the sheets. The shower looked new but that might have been to do with needing nightvision to see in there as the lights were burning with all the power of a tea light in a heavy storm. Manager Anthony Nickolas was very negative, said that it was just my opinion the room was not as advertised and that no other customers felt the same, reviewing trip advisor id say he is wrong there. The lady on reception was very sympathetic and polite and friendly however when we asked to leave our bags before check in, which the hotel advertises luggage storage, she was going to leave them in the hallway... Safe to stay we found another hotel and exited swiftly.
Bedbugs, sewer smell,..
I made a mistake booking this hotel. I stayed for 3 awful nights. The beds were full of bedbugs and the toilet had very bad lightning and smelled like a sewer. Also got a chocolate bar with caprisun as "breakfast". When my friend woke up at 4 am covered in bedbugs we went to the reception and no one was there! The next morning we told them about our room and they sent us to a more disgusting room. We barely got any sleep and didnt spent time in our rooms because of disgust. We got very tired of it and just waited for our return home. And I am 100 % sure that they wont fix the bedbugs/problems and keep letting people suffer in their hotel and the staff seemed unbothered. If i could give a 0 star rating I would.
