Nice room, good location

Reviewed 13 june, 2022

Was perfect for my overnight stay. Room was small but nice. Bed was comfortable and everything thing very clean. Staff were helpful especially when I couldn’t open the safe! Would stay again. Edgware Road tube station a 6 minute walk away and took 20 minutes to walk to Park Lane.

Everything you need

Don't come if you're expecting a 5* hotel. But if you want to be a 15 minute walk from Central London, a clean bed and friendly service, this is the place for you. The people at reception were so kind and friendly, the room was clean where it mattered - who can keep cream carpets clean anyway - and the location was ideal. For the price, I would 100% return!

Good stay

Reviewed 14 january, 2022

I stayed in hotel for one night only, as I stopped in London. Very quick check in was a huge plus as I was tired. When booking I went for a deluxe double room ( which I thought came with a bath tub 🛀). I was informed, there's mostly showers in their rooms. But lady on reception was very kind and changed my room for one with a bath tub. All at all it was a good stay. Pluses: *flexibility of rooms *great location *clean room ( cleanwise it was spotless) *nice and quiet hotel Minuses: -very outdated carpet, walls -very squeaky floor - unstable bath tub ( I am 172cm and 90 kg, so not that enormously huge and I felt like bath tub was about to collapse) - on arrival I didn't hear "welcome to our hotel, and on departure no-one asked how was my stay, I literally handed over the key mid corridor and that was it. I worked in hospitality for almost 12 years and that's bit sad, when you as a guest feel invisible.

Two nights away

Reviewed 10 december, 2021

The check in was easy and simple, our room was on the top floor which was a bit of a task to carry the luggage up however the room was a decent size with everything needed. The carpet however was stained and looked dirty, the wallpaper peeling off the wall in some places. But other than that for the price it was all that was needed for two nights away when we weren’t in the room much other for sleeping. Overall a good experience in a good location but the room needed some touch ups.

Tired hotel in a good location

Reviewed 11 november, 2021

We booked this hotel for our first couples break away and paid £140 for two nights mid week. Location wise it was great, very central and lots of places such as Oxford street are walkable. There is a lovely little pub down the street opposite called The Heron which was very welcoming to us. Also lots of lovely Middle Eastern food available on Edgware Road. We were upgraded on checking in which was a nice gesture as the room we had been allocated was directly behind reception. Whilst the upgrade was appreciated the room was really tired and although the sheets were clean the carpet was dirty as were the curtains and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The bathroom leaked - unsure if it was the toilet or extractor fan or both! Location wise I would stay here again but the price would have to be right as it is really tired…
