More about the hotel
Toilet. The place is a sh*thole. There are old toilet seats in front of entrance. Slum building in a great neighborhood.
Toilet. The place is a sh*thole. There are old toilet seats in front of entrance. Slum building in a great neighborhood. MStay is a dump. The place do not match the listing. Rusted file cabinet, dirty plastic flowers, dingy everything. And of course the old toilet seats at the entrance. This trip was a Valentine's day gift for my wife. She cried when we arrived. We could not stay in this disgusting place and booked another hotel. Currently fighting with MStay for a refund. The manager told me to f**k off. You really can't make this sltuff up. Avoid by all means. Thank me later.
Trip of a lifetime, traveled alone and it was freeing
I am a big lover of Christmas time so I waited until third week in November to travel to London, England to see how they do Christmas time. It was AMAZING. Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Caranby, Covent Garden, Leicester Square and so on. I recommend BigBus at least for a day to become acquainted with all your main tourist spots. I was fortunate to have Wikipedia Will on my BigBus experience and he was so knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. This was the first time I traveled alone and I had the time of my life. Took as much time, or as little as I wanted everywhere I went. I walked, walked, walked and enjoyed all the free things London offers. Highlight was St Paul's Cathedral and climbing up to the top for a 360 view. Russell Court Hotel was in Kensington/Chelsea neighborhood and it was a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to Kensington Palace/Hyde Park. I would stay there again.
Lovely little hotel. Convenient for Olympia
We stayed here with our adult kids in a room for 4 people. It was spotless with plenty of tea and coffee. Conveniently situated for London Olympia as we went to a gig here and handy for the train stop. Restaurants and pubs close by. Perfect really.
Very good budget hotel
We booked to stay here for a couple nights whilst we took in the sights and sounds of London. The hotel was very reasonably priced. The rooms were very small but they were clean and had all the amenities you need from a hotel. It was perfectly suffice for our trip, we only slept there so we didn’t need a lot of room. The walls are quite thin and we could hear a couples conversation in the room above. We were fortunate that this was only a short conversation but if you had a family in the room next door, this could be a issue. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The breakfast was fairly basic but had a small selection of both traditional English and continental. For the price of the room in London it was absolutely fine. The location of the hotel is good and it’s only a short walk to the overground at Olympia. Overall a good hotel. I would give it 3.5 if I could but it’s definitely more than a 3. I would stay there again.
Meh! Have stayed in better places for Less Money
Let me start by saying that it wasn't a total loss on the Hotel. The Breakfast was pretty good with a wide variety of choice. The location was also pretty good, not too close to the Centre of London, but close enough to a good amount of Tube Stations that could get you to places easily enough. I also liked the fact that Reception was manned 24/7. The bad parts was that the room ws very small for what I paid and as the title states, I have paid far less within London and received a more spacious room. You could also hear every little noise, like the guy in the room upstairs who's phone was on vibrate that was going off for about 30 minutes at 6am!
