I stayed in a room facing the street. Unable to sleep thanks to Sainsbury’s loading and unloading from midnight to after 2am. Not recommended for a business trip. Other colleague had an unclean room,Left after one night.

Fair warning: Someone accessed my room with a key and stole my money while I was out though no cleaning service was requested (hotel doesn’t clean rooms daily). Mr Patel, the manager, was unsympathetic, unhelpful, and avoided communication, even though hotel has information on whose key can access guest rooms and date/time of theft was known. He also acknowledged hotel safes can malfunction and staff can access safes. Filed police report.

The hotel was great, better than expected! We took a rooftop room that has amazing view of London! The food was good as well, especially the chef Ali an the rest of the staff was really nice and welcoming! will stay there again for sure!

How on earth can you run a hotel without any service at all ? On arrival we asked if our room faced the street - «I don’t know» was the answer …. (It did face the street.) Our room was a (so called) dobble, newly decorated 🤣😱 with : * No place to put your toiletries or your clothes that don’t go on a hanger (except on the floor) * Same goes for the hairdryer * No sockets in the bathroom - where are you supposed to shave ???? * No hooks anywhere in the bathroom - only on the roomdoor * You have to be Hercules to close the bathroomdoor * A bar of soap in the bathroom saying : «Think positive» - is it meant as an insult ??? * No refrigerator I am not used to being charged the full amount of my stay up on arrival - but I imagine it’s the only way they are sure to get paid …. We also asked the consierge if he could help with table reservation at a restaurant, but no …. that was obiously not part of St Giles’s service. And to top it all our room was not done the first day because WE hadn’t told them to do it ?!?! No one told us on arrival, but we should have asked…., What kind of an attitude is that for a hotell ???? To have your room done you have to tell reception EACH morning before 11am - even though you’re staying for a week …. It will defenitely be a loooooong week …. Whatever you do - DO NOT STAY AT ST GILES ! ! !
